When the majority vote on the Madison County School Board is represented by the members above, they are viewed as pariahs and lambasted by the public in some of the harshest, most disrespectful terms imaginable. Dismissed as “Micro-Managers. However, when an ALL WHITE county ethics committee meets to decide the fate of an African American board member, that’s “Business As Usual.” One concerned reader -Cory Vann- wrote: “Let the modern day #Lynching begin.....Whether you agree or disagree with what he (Merriweather) said, attempting to use an email response to steal an election that didn?t go your way is #Ridiculous and the voters of his district should sue the Madison County Commission for attempting to suppress their vote ??” Peace!
