“I’ve wanted to make candy carrot bags for my kids for Easter for years but I never wanted to hand cut the fringe. So this year I let my Cricut Explore cut it for me. It’s beautiful! Each little fringe piece is perfect. These came together in a snap!”

This project makes three fringe pieces and uses an image from the Cricut Pretty Packages digital cartridge.

What you need

Cone Shaped Plastic Bags

LightGrip Machine Mat

Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks

1. Cut In Cricut Design Space™, cut the images from cardstock.

2. Fill the bags with candy and secure closed.

3. Use hot glue to adhere one end of the fringe image to the top of the bag.

4. Wrap the fringe around the bag, securing with hot glue as you wrap.

Easter Bunny Tray

This project uses vinyl to create a treat tray for the Easter Bunny.

To alter the project, select Customize, then use the Edit panel to make changes.

To edit text, use the text tool to select the text you want to change, and type in your desired letters. To lock text in place, use Attach.

Cut

Follow Design Space® prompts to cut images from vinyl.

Assemble

Use weeder tool to remove unneeded vinyl pieces. When weeding, start from inside and move out.

Use Transfer Tape and a Scraper Tool to apply vinyl cuts to your project. Make sure surface is clean and dry.
