Local is lekker with custom made apparel - Ranique Roberts shares this easy to make t-shirt using Design Space. With so many images already available, making something to celebrate your heritage is easy.

Hi! My name is Ranique Roberts, supermom by day and creative by night I spend my days dreaming about my next creative project and how to incorporate it all into one. I am passioante about paint, creating personalized projects, home decor and labelling everything to stay organized as a busy mom of boys. And with my trusty cricut by my side, nothing can stop me.

Preparation
If you want to alter the project, select Customize, then use the tools in the Edit panel to make changes before you cut.
Cut and Assemble
Select and size the Design found in design Space
Select Iron-on as your Material from the materials list.
TIP: With the new Auto Mirror always on feature when selecting Iron-on you no longer have to worry about mirroring your design manually
Send your design to the machine and cut
Weed away the excess material and position on your preheated t-shirt
Iron the design onto your t-shirt as per the instructions that can be found in the Heat APP

Educational Facebook Live Class
Cricut Design Print Then Cut is one of our most loved and used features in design Space. Arno shows us how to use Printable Iron-on on light material with scanned painting and then pressed onto a white shirt using his EasyPress. This class is sure to be a favourite using this amazing feature and new product from Cricut.


Creative Challenge.
Theme: I made it for South Africa
In September we celebrate our Heritage - in this challenge we celebrate cultural diversity, and showcase the versatility of Cricut machines through creativity. Create crafts that represent your own heritage or explore and honor other cultures. This could include traditional symbols, traditional events like Braai Day, patterns, attire, or even colours, textures and quotes. Let your imagination run wild.
Category 1:
Clothing and Accessories:
Design culturally inspired apparel or accessories using Cricut consumables for your designs. Think t-shirts, jewellery and any unique apparel that says I am proudly South African

Category 2:
Proudly South African: Make something that says I am proudly South African, that someone will recognize instantly for example replicating a favourite brand, a favourite sayinganything goes.

Category 3:
Home Decor: Create items like wall art, shadow boxes , banners, table runners, place mats or table settings with cultural motifs, or your favourite animal that says I am South African.
