This project cuts and draws on cardstock to create personalised animal bookmarks.

Everything Else Cricut™ Cutting Machine

LightGrip Machine Mat

Fine Point Pen, Black

Adhesive for Cardstock

Insert pen when prompted.

Assemble Use hand scissors to trim material around cut design, then use Weeder tool (or tweezers) to remove unwanted material, so only your cut designs remain on liner.

Glue top layer(s) to bottom layer.

Last, glue down the white belly piece.

Personalised Labels This project uses vinyl to make labels to help organise your classroom.

What you need

Preparation

Materials To Cut

Permanent Vinyl, White

When you’re ready, select Make It. Follow the Design Space prompts.

Everything Else Assemble Cricut™ Cutting Machine

Use hand scissors to trim material around cut design, StandardGrip Machine Mat

then use Weeder tool (or tweezers) to remove unwanted material, so only your cut designs remain on liner.

Cut a piece of Transfer Tape slightly larger than the size Scraper tool (or credit card)

of the cut design.

Transfer Tape

Use a Scraper tool (or credit card) to burnish the tape over your design. Flip to burnish the backside, too.

Slowly peel back the white liner at an angle, making sure the decal adheres to the tape.

Ensure your container surface is clean and dry, then place decal in desired position. Use Scraper to firmly press decal to surface.

Slowly peel back transfer tape at a 45-degree angle. If pieces of decal remain on tape, press back down to burnish again.

Push any bubbles in the vinyl out toward the cut edges with Scraper or fingernail.

Take the sheet with the name and cut around the full name, leaving a small edge.

Take the name piece and place it on the bright teal

Heat Resistant Tape

transfer sheet, combining both designs onto one sheet.

This will allow the design to be pressed all at once.

Reverse-Action Tweezers

Place transfer sheet with the design facing down, making Butcher Paper

contact with the bag. Transfer sheet should be facing up.

Cardstock, White

Use the heat tape to hold the design in place while pressing.
