CLARE GRANGER
I love to observe people and places and the disparate but similar ways in which lives are lived. For me there is an endless fascination in observing and hearing stories of life as experienced far away from my own rural English life. In many ways we all have similar desires and motivations but the experience of life can differ enormously. This exhibition has come together by way of parallel thoughts and observations of lives lived in different parts of the world. Whilst exploring the use of colour and the effects of light, I have taken inspiration for my subjects by finding parallels across East and West. Clare Granger, 2026
