This exhibition is a collection of recent paintings created in my London home studio inspired by colour, patterns, shapes and textures. I build layer upon layer to create paintings of birds, bowls, buildings, fruits and flowers from my imagination. I hope you enjoy them. Anna Hymas, 2026 Anna Hymas lives and works in London. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins College (2000), Anna has shown her paintings in London (including the RA Summer Exhibition), Glasgow, Paris, New York, and galleries throughout the UK. Her paintings combine depth with a sense of abstraction, shaped by the process of layering one image over another. Anna’s work spans a range of media including painting, fabrics, rugs, childrens’ books, ceramics and a series of posters specially commissioned for the London Underground.
