We are part of the AIA, the International Alpaca Association in Peru that seeks to position alpaca fiber in the world textile market, achieving its recognition as one of the world’s finest fibers with ancient history and beneficial properties. The association aims to promote a stable demand, sustainable growth, and benefits for all the links in the value chain (such as breeders, industrialists, garment-makers, traders and designers). The ALPACA MARK guarantees the content and quality of the alpaca fiber used in the different products that bear the ALPACA MARK.
INTERNATIONAL ALPACA ASSOCIATION
SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is the most widely used social audit in the world. SMETA is Sedex's social auditing methodology, enabling businesses to assess their sites and suppliers to understand working conditions in their supply chain.
Sedex SAQ consists of 4 fundamental pillars - Labor Standards, Health and Safety, Environment and Business Ethics. The four pillars take into account legal requirements, international standards and best practices.

OUR SUPPLIER CERTIFICATIONS
RESPONSIBLE ANIMAL FIBER CERTIFICATION
The Responsible Animal Fiber (RAF) is an international, voluntary standard that ensures alpaca, sheep and mohair's wool is responsibly sourced from farmers with high animal welfare standards. RAF (Responsible Animal Fiber) is a group of 3 Textile Different exchange labels (RWS, RMS, RAS) committed to animal welfare in the textile sector. Materials are tracked (through chain of custody certification) from the farm to the final product using transaction certificates. They guarantee at the level of breeding; The respect of the principles of animal welfare and land management. at the level of textile production: The composition of RAFcertified fibers in the garment and traceability throughout the supply chain.
TRACEABILITY involves more than simply knowing where the fiber originated. How does this procedure benefit the alpaca breeders? Dealing is direct, without the participation of any intermediary. This enables a relationship of trust to be forged between the alpaca producer and Pacomarca through the provision of technical support which improves production and generates an enhanced income for the farmer.

the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 label certifies that the product does not contain any substances harmful to human health.
The OEKO-TEX STEP Certification is for accrediting sustainable textile production. It guarantees the establishment of processes which respect the natural environment and optimum working conditions.
