Follow that mountain. We tend to think of the earth beneath our feet (or wheels) as timeless, solid and immovable. But even though we don’t realise it, the planet’s surface is continually crumpled by something called ‘plate tectonics’. Lucky thing too – if the Earth were completely smooth, everywhere would be submerged under four kilometres of water. Not much fun. Thankfully, these changes in scenery don’t happen during your average day trip. But if the landscape does get a little rough, it’s good to know that the Altea Freetrack is available with four-wheel drive.

The great indoors. The Altea Freetrack isn’t just big on headroom. Rear passengers will notice that it also offers an unrivalled amount of elbow-room.
