The Fitness Court® is a state-of-the-art, digitally connected platform for adults of all ages and abilities to develop healthy habits and maintain long-term wellness. Red Bull ranked The Fitness Court® one of the best gyms in the world, and now one is coming to Crete!

It takes a community, which is why we've created different level sponsorship opportunities to make this Fitness Court possible. With your help, we can provide free outdoor fitness within a 10 minute bike ride radius to our residents.

What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels Rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport It can also be quite a challenging, fast-paced, and competitive game when people become more experienced at playing So quit "Dinkin" around and join these fun Pickleball programs!

Valid Driver's License/I.D required Rental Reservations must be done in person at our Administrative Center. Fee payment and contract signage is required at the time of reservation to save a date.

Security Hold replaces a deposit. The week of your event a hold is placed on a credit card as a deposit. It is released if all contract agreements are met.

Fundraisers and events that charge admission fees require additional approval and require a 60 day advance notice.

Residents of the Village of Crete receive a discount on rentals.

Party enhancers and serving alcohol are an extra fee and require an insurance certificate through eventhelper.com

With over 35 years of teaching experience and 5 sold out Biennial Costumed Winter Dance Shows, ballet instructor Miss Teresa welcomes dancers of all shapes, sizes and skill levels. Miss Teresa regards success in different terms. “I want them to be good dancers, but more importantly, to be confident and comfortable in who they are, to give their best, and to love, support, and encourage each other. In other words, to be good dancers and good people."

Ballet lessons are held at Crete Park On Main and each session runs 3 months at a time Beginners are more than welcome to start in our beginner ballet class and Miss Teresa will assess based on skill level.

Crete Park District Preschool

Our Preschool curriculum includes writing skills, measurement, numbers, colors and more. To be eligible for our Preschool Program, the child must be 3 by September 1 of the enrollment year and must be toilet trained. A $100 deposit and a credit card will save your spot and get you enrolled in our payment plan.

We will sing, march, and parade in this Fourth of July special! Increase your child's self-esteem with fun is the goal of this class. A special craft project all with the Star Spangled theme will leave your little one excited about this special holiday.

Stack "Ten Apples Up on Top", "Hop on Pop", have fun with the "Sneetches" and maybe even eat "Green Eggs and Ham". This class is all about having fun with Dr. Seuss. Have fun reading the books, making crafts and imaginative play.

Dino Dig Ages 3-6

Come have some pre-historic fun in this new class. We will have fun exploring the world of dinosaurs by making crafts, playing games and having our own dino dig.

Icky Sticky Gooey Ages 3-5

Icky? You bet! Sticky? Of course! Gooey? Even better! Dress to get messy as we mix up some crazy concoctions to make some crayons, playdough and more!

Ahoy Mateys

Ages 3-6

Ahoy, Matey! It's time to join your fellow buccaneers in our very special Pirate Party for lads and lasses alike. We'll weigh anchor and hoist the mizzen as we set sail on a pirate adventure that you'll never forget.

Wado Ki Karate

This program places an emphasis on proper attitude, discipline, self-confidence, coordination and flexibility. Students are separated after stretching according to their rank Uniforms and rank certification are available from the instructor for an additional fee This is a year-round program designed to take the students all the way to black belt and is multi-generational

Horse Back Riding Lessons Ages 7+

Get up and go! It's time to ride at Nova Quarter Horses, Inc. fun for all ages at any riding level, no previous experience is needed. Youth Improv Class

Ages 6-10

Come play games that work on teamwork, confidence, public speaking, and creative thinking! No experience necessary! The instructor, Kate Wiersema, is a performer with over 12 years of experience.

Summer Horse Camps

Ages 7-18

Come join us for four fun filled days of riding and learning horsemanship skills. Students participating in summer camp will get hands-on experience in grooming, bridling and saddling horses. Everyday will also include a riding lesson. Other activities include arts and crafts, water games, and bathing horses

CPR with AED

Ages 11+

Your instructor will provide you with First Aid and CPR training using the American Heart Association methods. Included in this program is instruction on how to use the AED-automated external defibrillator which is used in cases of life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia which lead to cardiac arrest. Upon successful completion of the class, you will receive certification.

Minecraft Engineering With Lego

Bring Minecraft to life using tens of thousands of Lego parts! Build engineer-designed projects such as a Creeper, a Lava Trap, and a Minecart. Create your favorite Minecraft mobs, tools, and objects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.

K's Training Academy Baseball Camp

We are very excited to host a baseball camp run by K's Training Academy, a baseball training organization in Bloomington - Normal. Work on pitching, hitting, and fielding with Josh Kauten and his assistants.

Ultimate Frisbee League

An Ultimate Frisbee League with six weeks of gameplay. Games last approximately 48 minutes. Players will be split into teams based on registration. Age groups 8-12 and 13-17. Volunteer Coaches needed. Games will be played on Sundays beginning at 1 pm on August 20.

Line Dancing Intermediate Ages 18+

Welcome to the dance floor! Basic steps already acquired, we'll be learning 10-12 new dances. It will be good exercise disguised as fun. Classes taught by Cathy Gervais.

Line Dancing Beginner Ages 18+

Let's get moving! Learn the basic line dance steps so you can get out on the floor when the music calls. Participants will learn 8-12 line dances to Country Western & Urban music. Great exercise for the heart and the brain. Classes are taught by Cathy Gervais.
