Registration & Policies

First Time Registration When registering for the first time, residents will need to come into our Administrative Office to provide proof of residency by showing proper documentation. This includes the following: Driver's License or State ID Most recent gas, electric and/or water bill

In Person Registration All in person registration can be taken at our Administrative Office.

Online Registration Online registration is available for everyone on our website cretepark.com.

Set Up an Online Account

Returning registrants and non-resident, just give us a call at 708.672.6969 and we can set an online account over the phone.

To secure the residential discount, first time registration needs to be done in person

Resident Map

Cancellations and Refunds Park District reserves the right to cancel, or reschedule programs or classes. If rescheduling the class is due to CDC guidelines, participants will be rescheduled or receive a credit. If the class is canceled and not rescheduled due to other reasons, a full refund will be given. Other refund requests will be reviewed individually and must be requested at least one week prior to the start of class.

Today, we find ourselves in the midst of an important and unprecedented challenge brought on by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Despite the unknown road ahead, the crisis has made it clear that parks, public spaces, and wellness practices are as important now as they have ever been in our history.

With that being said, we are pleased to share that Crete Park District has just been selected as one of a few statewide partners to participate in the 2023 National Fitness Campaign grant program and bring free, world class-fitness to Crete with an outdoor Fitness Court.

The Fitness Court® is a state-of-the-art, digitally connected platform for adults of all ages and abilities to develop healthy habits and maintain long-term wellness. Red Bull ranked The Fitness Court® one of the best gyms in the world, and now one is coming to Crete!

It takes a community, which is why we've created different level sponsorship opportunities to make this Fitness Court possible. With your help, we can provide free outdoor fitness within a 10 minute bike ride radius to our residents.

New Youth Programs Coming Winter 2023 Cheerleading Learn cheer techniques and routines from Marian Catholic High School Cheerleader Taylor Medlock.

Learn fundamentals and gain next level tools to be the best cheerleader you can be.

Ages 9 -13

Babysitter Training Learn basic child care and first aid from the American Red Cross. This one day class will focus on providing youth with the tools and skills necessary to safely and responsibly provide care for children and infants in the absence of parents.

Ages 11-15

First Aid For Little People

This Amreican Red Cross class teaches children basic health and safety tips focusing on shock, bleeding, choking, the Heimlich Maneuver, burns, poisons and more. Many hands-on activities will be provided for additional reinforcement.

Ages 6-10

Learn To Stay Safe At Home This class is for the child who stays home by themselves occasionally, cares for siblings, babysits or is just ready to accept more responsibility.
