Crete Park District has just been selected as one of a few statewide partners to participate in the 2023 National Fitness Campaign (NFC). This exciting partnership aims to improve the overall quality of life in Crete’s community by providing complimentary outdoor fitness opportunities in a dynamic new way with a sleek and modern outdoor Fitness Court, to be located at our Heritage Park Sports Complex.

The Fitness Court is an innovative outdoor bodyweight circuit training center designed to improve the quality of life in cities, schools, parks and trails across America. Designed for adults of all ages and abilities, the Fitness Court provides a full body workout in just seven minutes with seven different zones. With over 30 pieces of body-weight equipment, the Fitness Court can be used in thousands of ways
Now We Need Your Help
The Fitness Court will be made possible in Crete through sponsorships by companies like yours. After being awarded grant funding from NFC, Crete Park District formally adopted the initiative and budgeted partial funds to make this project a reality. Our goal is to launch the $150,000 Fitness Court by August of 2023. With your support, we can achieve this goal and start broadening our fitness programs and provide a more connected community through a built environment that promotes a culture of healthy living.
