AT A GLANCE - WHAT DOES EACH DEPARTMENT DO?

Land & Planning – Our Land & Planning teams are responsible for buying high-quality land which meets our criteria for creating communities and placemaking. The team sees the land purchase through the planning process.

Technical – Our Technical teams manage external consultants who provide us with architectural and engineering drawings. Technical are involved in every stage of the development of a piece of land, from crucial surveys when identifying land, to value engineering and resolving problems as they occur during the build stage.

Commercial – Our Commercial teams manage our materials and labour costs which is critical to the success of every build programme. They ensure we have the right subcontractors in place for both materials and labour.

Build – Our Build teams manage the construction part of the process, with our site teams ensuring we deliver our plots on time, on budget and most importantly – safely.

Sales & Marketing - Our Sales teams include site sales who manage our show homes, showing potential buyers what’s available and helping them find their future home with divisional support including marketing.

Customer Service – Our Customer Service teams are responsible managing our customers once they have moved into their new home, including helping with any defects which may need resolving.

Finance – Our Finance teams are responsible for driving the commercial performance of their particular Division, partnering with the other departments and providing valuable reports to our Group Finance team.

PSL – Our Partnership & Strategic Land team secure and coordinate the promotion of longer term strategic land and coordinate key stakeholder relationships such as with Homes England and housing associations. CNPSL also look to secure joint venture opportunities, where land is acquired to be developed in collaboration.

Group – We have a number of Group teams who support our operational Divisions, including IT, SHE, HR, Group Operations and Group Finance.
