ccording to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 20% of youth ages 13-18 live with a mental health condition, which can often manifest itself through anxiety, stress, suicidal thoughts and behavior, and drug and alcohol abuse, to name a few. Over the last 50 years, the world has seen an increase of young people struggling with either a diagnosed mental illness, or mental health issues deriving from triggers including bullying, family issues, abuse and sexual orientation. These struggles can occur whether you’re male or
female, wealthy or poor, or attending private or public school. In this day and age, it is clear that support services are necessary for many young people.

ALL CELTS WEEKEND
Welcome Back Celts & Royals
O
n Friday, September 21, more than 200 Crespi alumni and Louisville alumnae gathered at the Alumni
House for the 3rd annual All Celts Alumni Reunion Weekend. Once again, Celts and Royals grooved to the musical stylings of the 1967 class band (featuring Ed Siegler, Dacre Bush, Mark Macellino, Greg Orfalea,
and from the Class of 1971 Guy Sesma and Julian Pardo), feasted on food from Tresierras Market (owned and operated by alumni Art ’91, Mark ’93 and Chris ’95 Tresierras), and enjoyed craft beer from Indie Brewery
(Connor Forbes ’05). The reuniting classes of 1968, 1988, 1993, 1998 and 2008 continued their celebration on Saturday night throughout the Valley. We look forward to seeing all Celts at next year’s All Celt Alumni BBQ & Reunion Weekend on homecoming weekend, Friday and Saturday, September 20 and 21, 2019! .

t Crespi Carmelite High School, students strive to
reach their highest potential. Your support makes this possible.
It is the number one priority of the administration, fac-
ulty and staff of Crespi Carmelite High School to provide our students with the best possible education, grounded in the Carmelite tradition of building men of character.
The vitality of the school is made possible by the ongoing
philanthropic support of current and past parents, alumni, board members, faculty and staff, and friends of Crespi. A Crespi education is not sustained by tuition alone.
We are extremely grateful for all those listed in this
report for their generosity and stewardship. The results of this generosity are immediate and lasting for the students and for the school.
Cash Gifts
Unrestricted gifts are applied to the Annual Fund, known as the Crespi Man Fund. Gifts may be made by cash, check or credit card.
As a Crespi board member and Chairman of the Finance Committee, it is heartening to see the continued growth of the Crespi Man Fund (CMF). These gifts from our generous supporters are meaningful so that the school can continue its mission of providing a first class education to the next generation of Crespi Men. – Joe Sykora, Finance Chair, father to Jeffrey Sykora ’03 and Robert Sykora ’05 value of the securities. ince our founding in 1959, Crespi Carmelite High School relies upon the generosity of others to help advance our mission. Just as our academic success hinges on the dedication of our faculty, staff and students, we
depend upon the support of alumni, parents and friends who provide us with the
resources necessary to transform boys into Crespi Men. Be a part of Crespi’s future by giving in the following ways:
1. Planned Giving - Legacy Society
• Include a gift to Crespi in your will or trust.
• Designate a percentage of your retirement plan assets such as an IRA to Crespi.
• Designate a portion of your life insurance policy to support Crespi after your lifetime.
