Behind this remarkable year are donors who believe that a Prep education can change a life and that Men for Others can change the world. Today, more than 60% of our students receive financial assistance. Your generosity makes that possible, providing $1,587,390 in annual giving and $1.4 million raised through BASH to support our students.
DE AR MEMBE RS OF TH E C RE IGHTON PRE P COMMUN IT Y, On behalf of the Creighton Prep Board of Trustees, I’m pleased to share the 2026 Annual Report, which highlights your generosity and the many ways your support impacts our students. Thank you for helping create a powerful Prep experience that prepares our young men not only for college, but for lives of purpose and service. Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, we saw progress in our students’ achievements, in the generosity of our donors and in the continued development of our campus. That growth was especially evident in the accomplishments of our students. Five seniors were named as finalists in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program and 114 Junior Jays earned a remarkable 328 Regional Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. In robotics, Team 16010 Astra Machina was named the 2026 FTC Nebraska Champion and represented Prep at the FTC World Championship. Our student-athletes shone just as brightly. Prep’s Swim & Dive team captured the Nebraska Boys State Championship, which is its third title in the past four years. The wrestling team also sent 10 wrestlers to the NSAA State Championship—a state record—and secured the team title for the second year in a row. Our cross country team, which won its second state championship in three years, and our club hockey team also captured state titles.
Donors also invested in the future of our mission by establishing nine new endowed scholarships and contributing $2,001,088 to new and existing scholarship endowments. These gifts are a vital part of our ongoing effort to make a Prep education as accessible and affordable as possible. Finally, Prep donors continue to strengthen the experience of our students by investing in high-quality facilities that help us form young men more deeply. This year, our student-athletes and coaches welcomed the opening of the new tennis complex, home to Prep’s most successful program in terms of state titles. None of this progress would be possible without you. Your support strengthens the work happening every day here at Prep. Together, we remain committed to the school’s continued success and growth. KEEPING PREP ACCESSIBLE & AFFORDABLE Thanks to your generosity in fiscal year 2026, a Prep education remained within reach for students and families throughout the greater Omaha area. Your support funded two key commitments: a per-student tuition subsidy covering the difference between tuition charged and the actual cost of a Prep education, and income-based tuition adjustments for families earning between less than $50,000 up to $250,000.

INSPIRED GIVING. LASTING IMPACT. For Matthew Jadlowski ‘13, giving back to Creighton Prep has never been about the size of the gift; it’s about supporting the programs and experiences that shaped him. That instinct traces back to his time as a Prep student, when service learning and Catholic Social Teaching site work took him to the Pine Ridge Reservation and White Clay, Nebraska. It was there, without even realizing it, that Matthew found his calling. “I didn’t even know what social work was until a classmate suggested I look into it,” he recalled. “Looking back, it was my volunteer work, advocacy and service learning at Prep that led me there.”
and now works with students in Minnesota, but he’s remained closely tied to the school. This connection made him eager to help when he first learned about Prep’s inaugural multicultural fair this spring. His Polish heritage is a big part of his life, and the fair felt like a natural place to lend his support. With his backing, the fair became more than just an event; it became a celebration of cultures, one that gave students the chance to lead, share their stories and create an experience that benefited the entire Prep community. For Matthew, the reward wasn’t just funding the event; it was watching students take ownership of it.

INVESTING IN PREP STUDENTS THROUGH A BUSINESS CURRICULUM When John Tolan ‘71 looks back on his life — from his youth growing up in Ralston to a successful career in business and giving back to Creighton Prep — he can see the hand that God had in directing it and in giving him the perseverance to see things through when the path ahead wasn’t always clear. That included the choice of Prep for high school. “My sister went to Ryan High School and my brother went to Ralston High School, then my parents, for reasons they never explained, sent me to Prep,” said John. “Only two of my classmates from Ralston were going to Prep, and I wasn’t particularly close friends with either one.”

THE TILLMAN SCHOLARSHIP: ONE FAMILY’S TRIBUTE TO A PREP LEGEND Affectionately known by Creighton Prep alumni as “Tilly,” Fr. Bob Tillman, SJ, has been a cornerstone of campus life for more than 50 years.

With his signature smile and infectious laugh, Fr. Tillman has won the hearts of faculty and students alike as he taught in Prep’s classrooms, coached student-athletes and inspired generations of young men discerning their next steps after high school. Most importantly, he has shown up for the people who have come to rely on him. For Jake Gasnick ’07 and his family, that presence has stretched across generations. Jake’s father, Terry Gasnick ’74, first came to know Fr. Tillman as a teacher and crosscountry coach. By the time Jake and his brother, Sam Gasnick ’07, attended Prep decades later, Fr. Tillman had become more than a familiar face on campus. As Jake describes him, he was more like family. “Ever since I can remember, even before I attended Creighton Prep, he’s been a really big mentor for myself and my family,” Jake said. “I was struck by his selflessness, his humility, his genuine concern for others and his ability to show up.”
That spirit of showing up has defined Fr. Tillman’s ministry at Prep, and it is precisely what the Gasnick family hopes to honor through the Fr. Bob Tillman, SJ, Endowed Scholarship.
FPO Established by Jake, his brother and their mother, Roxanne, the new scholarship is more than a tribute to a beloved Jesuit. It turns gratitude into opportunity, ensuring that Fr. Tillman’s commitment to forming Men for Others continues to touch future generations of Jr. Jays.
“Establishing a scholarship in his name is just our family’s way of expressing gratitude for his influence on us,” Jake said. “And ensuring his legacy continues to impact future generations of students.” Jake also sees the scholarship as a way to allow future students to experience a Prep education. In that sense, the gift reflects not only the Gasnick family’s gratitude for Fr. Tillman, but also their deep love for Prep. Jake knows his family is far from alone in feeling that connection. Throughout Prep’s history, countless Jesuits, teachers and coaches have left a lasting mark on the students and families they have served.
Perhaps no story better illustrates what Fr. Tillman has meant to the Gasnick family than the role he played in Jake’s wedding. Dear Friends of Creighton Prep, My name is Yahir Lopez-Martinez, and I’ve been connected to Prep for nearly seven of my 18 years. Before my time as a student here, I spent my middle school years as a Loyola Scholar, an experience that first introduced me to the people and mission of Prep. Looking back, I can confidently say that opportunity changed the course of my life. Growing up, my family faced constant financial challenges. We moved several times, changed schools and often struggled to make ends meet. Through it all, my parents emphasized two things: hard work and education. My dad, especially, always told me to become a better man than he was and never underestimate the value of learning. When my mom discovered Prep’s Loyola Scholars Program, she encouraged me to apply. I wrote my first-ever essay on our kitchen counter and nervously came to campus for an interview. I wasn’t even sure I wanted to attend. But the moment I walked through these doors, something changed. The kindness, encouragement and sense of purpose I felt here made me want to be part of this community.

Since then, Prep has given me opportunities I never imagined. I’ve played football, led retreats, served through Operation Others, joined Student Council and built friendships that have challenged me to grow. Most importantly, Prep has helped me become a man for others. Today, I’m at Gonzaga University studying mechanical engineering. I know I’m ready because of the education, mentorship and support I received at Prep. None of this would have happened without donors like you. BUILDING MORE THAN COURTS TOGETHER When Creighton Prep opened its new on-campus tennis complex in late August 2026, it celebrated much more than the completion of a construction project. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Prep alumni, parents, grandparents and friends, Prep Tennis now has a permanent home that will serve future generations of Jr. Jays to come. Located along the east edge of campus near Jurgensen Park, the new complex gives one of Nebraska’s most accomplished high school tennis programs a permanent home for practices and competition. With 27 state team championship titles, Prep Tennis has built a tradition of excellence despite never having a true home

I often think of Prep’s mission as something tangible; it’s something you can feel in the buzz of conversations in the Lannon Learning Commons at the start of a school day, that you can perceive in a lively class conversation that spills out into the hallways, and that’s alive in the energy of the Birdcage on a Friday night. RECAPPING CREIGHTON PREP’S FIRST ANNUAL DAY OF GIVING Creighton Prep’s first-ever One Day. One Prep. event, held on September 9, 2025, was a remarkable success, uniting alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends in support of the school’s mission. Together, the Prep community contributed 1,684 gifts and raised $516,728 in just 24 hours.
A special congratulations goes to the Class of 1995, which led all alumni classes in participation. The community’s enthusiasm helped Creighton Prep surpass its original goal of 1,000 donors and achieve the expanded challenge of reaching 1,500 donors in a single day.
The day was fueled by generous match and challenge gifts that inspired participation and unlocked additional support throughout the campaign. Dedicated One Day. One Prep. advocates also played a key role, generating more than 800 gifts and connecting supporters across generations of Jr. Jays.
