KIAMBU WINS BID TO HOST KICOSCA, CASA GAMES In a highly contested bid to host the fourth edition of the annual Kenya Inter-County Sports and Cultural Association, and County Assemblies Sports Association (KICOSCA/CASA) Games held from 14th – 21st August, 2016, the County Government of Kiambu was awarded the bid owing to its proved capacity.

FREE WIFI FOR ALL COUNTY RESIDENTS SOLOMON IRUNGU
Kiambu County residents are set to benefit from free WiFi in the next coming weeks. This is after Kiambu Governor William Kabogo launched the free internet in partnership with Liquid Telekom Kenya. The WiFi will be piloted in four major towns and will gradually be rolled out in the other towns in the wake of next year. The first installations will be at Thika, Ruiru, Kiambu and Kikuyu sub-counties while the rest of the sub-counties, Limuru, Kabete Lari, Gatundu South, Gatundu North, Githunguri, Kiambaa and Juja will be connected in the second phase.
