300 MILLION SHILLINGS SET TO BE DISTRIBUTED IN KIAMBU DUNCAN OJIJO TINDI
The County Government of Kiambu has set aside 300 million shillings to be distributed to youth, women and persons with disabilities for business start-ups or expansion. This comes through an act of Kiambu County Assembly (2014). The money has been made available for both individuals and groups of at least five people. Individuals are eligible up to a total of 100,000 shillings while group can get as much as 500,000 shillings. Kiambu Biashara fund is one of the most renowned projects from the department of youth affairs, sports and communication that has benefited thousands of youths, women and persons with disability.

She also added that the Biashara Fund which is meant for the youth, women and persons with disabilities in the county if used well this groups would improve their lives immensely.
