At Hojer Ranch, we have both Registered Gelbvieh and Balancer Heifers that will be sold at our March 3rd ProducCon Sale and 500 Commercial Gelbvieh/Cross Maternal Selected Heifers that will be offered private treaty. All Heifers qualify for the “You Pick ‘Em, We Breed ‘Em” Heifer Development Program.

The “You Pick ‘Em, We Breed ‘Em Program works like this: On March 3rd, 2025, you will bid on the Registered Heifers of your choice. Also on March 3rd, we are offering 500 Maternal Selected Commercial Heifers private treaty. All Heifers will be available for viewing on March 3rd! The “You Pick ‘Em, We Breed ‘Em Program works like this: On March 3rd, 2025, you will bid on the Registered Heifers of your choice. Also on March 3rd, we are offering 500 Maternal Selected Commercial Heifers private treaty. All Heifers will be available for viewing on March 3rd! Talk to Blake or Alan on the Commercial Heifer Pricing.
Regardless of the price of your successful bid, you only put down $500/head. Hojer Ranch will then AI the heifers to the sires of “YOUR” choice, when “YOU” want the heifers bred. You are then guaranteed a bred heifer to be picked up on October 1st, 2025, or you get your money back. The only additional costs are semen and synchronizing costs.
