aitlin Ouston founded ‘Happy to Help Townsville’ (now Co. Lab Townsville) in 2019 as a result of working in small and medium businesses for around 13 years. “I could see a real demand and need for help in smaller business who may not be in the position to have a full time employee to dedicate to marketing, but need some extra help with their marketing and social media marketing” Caitlin said. Caitlin recognises the difficulty for business owners who started their businesses to do what they’re good at or passionate about, to then turn around and not only run the admin side of the business but
to also market themselves in a way that continues to build their brand - that’s where outisde expereince in media marketing comes in. “I have worked in businesses in both administration and marketing and I believe the understanding I have of small business really contributes to how I consult with my clients. It’s important for me to have a throrough understanding of how your business works, before we make a plan on how to market your business using social media” Caitlin said. Caitlin recently rebranded from ‘Happy to Help Townsville’ to ‘Co. Lab
Townsville’, saying “Co. is a play on my initials, and the word ‘collaboration’ - to me this is the most prominent part of my mission, I aim to bring my clients and their customers together by building their audience.” The rebrand to Co.
