Sixth and Daniel Streetscape

Located in the City of Champaign’s Campustown District, Core Spaces’ newest hub development includes a mix of commercial, office, and residential apartments that cater to the lifestyle of the University of Illinois student population. The streetscape improvements follow the City’s design guidelines and include generous sidewalks with raised planters, seat walls, bike racks, and other furnishings. As a one-way street eastbound, Daniel Street was modified to include a counter-flow bike lane to accommodate the high volume of bicycle traffic between the adjacent university campus and campustown district. The development also includes a rooftop amenity deck and green roof improvements.
