Total Warrior consists of a muddy assault course set over different distances, for all age groups and abilities.

Everyone has a great time, and the sense of achievement is fantastic.

They witness the best of a community coming together, which is encouraging and heartwarming.

The Bridge Project Tadcaster is a Christian youth project based in the heart of Tadcaster. They

have been around for the best part of thirty years delivering regular assemblies across five local primary schools and support students in lunchtime sessions in two secondary schools.

They provide a welcoming and supportive space where everyone is made to feel valued, respected, and that they belong.

Gary Bentley, Lead Youth and Schools worker, told Tadcaster Echo: “We put ourselves through the planning, coordinating, and taking part because we see just how much The Bridge Project Tadcaster means to everyone who gets involved.

“Over the years, we have seen so many people - young and not-so young help in so many ways. That could be by providing a place for young mums to connect with other adults; providing a hot meal for the family; volunteering

opportunities and free training to increase job prospects; trips and experiences for young people to broaden their horizons and boost their confidence; give

young people a voice to express themselves, get advice, and talk about issues effecting them.”

New building and expansion coming in August 2026
