We are a little old fashioned. As much as we want to move forward with technology and trends, there is something special about maintaining beloved traditions that makes us proud and frankly, makes many of our Members happy. We send e-communications but highly value face to face meetings and greetings. We offer online reservations, but also welcome a Member who wants to call or stop in to the Golf or Tennis Shop to book an upcoming round or match. We introduce new golf and tennis instructional programs, but love hosting our annual Member-Guest Invitationals and Club Championships. Some of our new dining events may have already become traditions! Movie on the Green and the Old Fashioned Lobster Boil have had great turnouts and look like they will be on the schedule in the future. There is something about the “newness” of first time events but there is also something about those time honored and fine-tuned favorites.
Traditions give us something to look forward to, keep us grounded and become the roots of our Club community. Revisiting and sharing events with family and friends creates a network of fond memories. Our tradition of serving Members with excellence, however, is the most important tradition we keep! S AV E
