Inline Skating Summer Camp – Age 8-16
Skate Dojo is back! This Inline Skate Summer Camp will go over the basics of skating: how to fall, stop, turn, skate backwards, crossover, pivot, and more. As we progress to intermediate and advanced levels throughout the week, we will learn to skate at the skatepark. We start our day with stretching and warm ups to get ready for our time on skates. Playing in a steelband is fun and educational! Join internationally-known steelpan artist and educator, Gary Gibson, to learn music fundamentals (rhythm, melody, harmony) and beginning steelpan techniques, and to make some new musical friends!
