          Adventures in Drawing – Ages 6-12
          Landscapes, animals, people - this drawing-based art education program uses a simple drawing method and weekly format where students produce original works of art using artist quality mediums. Students will learn to think creatively, expand their drawing skills, and become more confident in self-expression, all while having fun in a non-competitive environment of encouragement and artistic inspiration. New drawing projects each session. Location: FAC Rm. 206. Instructor: Jessica Carlson $6 supply fee to be paid to the instructor on the first day of class.

    Developing Engineers by Snapology – Ages 8-12

If so, they’re the perfect fit for Snapology’s Developing Engineers: Mechanical Masterminds program! This program gives your student the tools they need to understand mechanical movement through the foundations of simple machines, physics, and engineering design. They will see moving parts up-close as they follow instructions to build various machines, then use the models to develop new design ideas, test out physics concepts, and even play games with their partners and classmates. Whether they are the creative-constructive type or prefer the inquisitive-deconstructive way of learning, this program is sure to spark their interests! Location: FAC Rm. 114

          Travel back millions of years in time and explore the prehistoric world of the dinosaurs! We’ll visit the amazing creatures that lived in the ancient seas of the Cambrian era, and work our way up to the Jurassic - when giants ruled the earth! Drawing and craft projects will chronicle our journey and bring our prehistoric friends to life! Please bring a healthy snack and drink to enjoy on your adventure!

    This extraordinary camp will delight those who wish to explore the mythical creatures of legends, and folklore. Fairies, cyclops, genies-in-lamps, dragons, mermaids and more! Artists will be enchanted with techniques in art mediums such as oil/chalk pastels, various paints, and mixed media. Join us to create two Art projects each day and spend the afternoons creating a sculpture out of clay and armatures of your favorite magical creature. The camp ends with a Friday Art Show so family and friends can see all that the artists have learned throughout the week. Join us for a fantastical week of creative fun!           Do you love Animals? Come explore the amazing “WORLD of ANIMALS” This day camp will dive into animal habitats and excite your young artist to return the next day. The camp ends with a Friday Art Show so family and friends can see all that they have learned throughout the week.           Join us for Puppet Theater! Artists will each make a puppet out of paper mache, paper clay, and fabric. Artists will spend their days working with various materials and learning new techniques to complete several works of art along with their puppets After a week of camp, kids will perform a "PNW folklorethemed" Puppet Show on Friday afternoon for friends and family. Artwise is teaming up with Jamtown, a local Fair Trade company that imports rhythm instruments, and hosts community drum circles, and classes. Jamtown John will work with the students to create the sounds and rhythms to accompany our Puppet Show. We hope you can join the fun! Supplies and camp T-shirt are included in tuition.

            Inline Skating Summer Camp –
          Ages 8-16
          Inline skate summer camp is coming to Edmonds! This summer camp will go over basics of skating: how to fall, how to stop, turn, skate backwards, crossovers, pivots, and as we progress to intermediate and advanced levels we will take our skills to the skatepark. We will start our day with stretching and warm ups to get ready for our time on skates. We will be playing fun camp games like tag, etc. Camp will be split by age and skill level All recreational levels of experience are welcome! Quad skates are also welcome!
          Location: Civic Park Skatepark. Equipment is available to rent from the instructor.
          Supply Fee depending on equipment needs:
