CRANSTON’S DAYCAMP GUIDE
OVERVIEW
Our camps run from July 2 to August 22, offering 8 weeks of fun-filled programs for kids aged 6 to 12 years old.
We also feature specialty options like basketball camps and leadership programs for older kids, including Leaders in Training and the Camp Internship Program.
Registration opens February 4 for residents and February 11 for non-residents. Register online, by phone, or in person spots are limited, so secure your spot early!

JUNGLE SAFARI ADVENTURE
JULY 2 - JULY 4

Venture deep into the jungle for a short week of wild fun and discovery!
Campers will explore the wonders of nature, learn about exotic animals, and go on thrilling “safaris” filled with games, crafts, and exciting challenges. It’s a roaring good time for all!
RODEO ROUNDUP
JULY 7 - JULY 11

Saddle up, cowboys and cowgirls! This camp will have campers stepping into the Wild West with fun rodeo-themed activities, games, and crafts. Whether they’re “lassoing” their way through challenges or showing off their Western flair, it’s all about having a rootin’-tootin’ good time.

ANIMAL PLANET

Calling all animal lovers! This camp is a celebration of creatures big and small. Campers will learn about wildlife, create animal-themed crafts, and enjoy fun games inspired by animals from around the globe. It’s a wild adventure you won’t want to miss!
GLOBAL VILLAGE

Take a trip around the world in one week! Campers will explore different cultures through music, games, art, and stories. From learning a dance to creating crafts inspired by faraway places, this camp is a celebration of the diverse world we live in.

COLORFUL CREATIONS

OLYMPIC VILLAGE

Let the games begin! This camp will have campers competing in fun, friendly challenges inspired by Olympic sports. From obstacle courses to team games, it’s all about working together, staying active, and celebrating everyone’s best efforts.

Dive into the ultimate hoops experience at Prince Basketball Camps! This camp is designed to fuel your passion for basketball while honing the essential skills of the game.

FREE Leadership Program for Youth (13–15 yrs)
Looking to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience?
This one-week program, offered the second week of each camp month, teaches behavior management, communication, and program planning Participants will also assist day camp leaders and campers.

AGES 15 - 17 YEARS
SUMMER CAMP INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Leadership Experience: Spend four weeks (July or August) paired with one of our summer camp programs, immersing yourself in the day-to-day operations of camp life. Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm.
Activity Facilitation: Take the lead in organizing and running games, crafts, and group activities, fostering fun and engagement for all participants.
Guidance and Mentorship: Work alongside experienced camp leaders who will provide support, feedback, and tips to help you grow and succeed in a leadership role.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE:
Professional Recognition: Earn a reference letter and certificate highlighting your dedication, leadership, and contributions to the program.
Financial Reward: Receive an honorarium as a token of appreciation for your hard work and commitment throughout the internship.
Skill Development: Build essential skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving while gaining invaluable experience to add to your resume.

Please note: you must be available for the entire 4 week placement in either July or August. Please indicate your preference in your letter.
CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds and cancellations can be requested up to two weeks before the camp start date and are subject to a $20 non-refundable administration fee. All requests must be submitted in writing to camps@cranstonra.ca.
Refunds for cancellations made within two weeks of the camp start date will not be issued, unless due to medical reasons with supporting documentation.
