Message from Mrs Conrad I trust that you are all keeping well during this challenging time. The staff and girls at St Teresa’s continue to display great positivity and resilience in this ever changing climate and I am immensely grateful to them for carrying on with business as usual, always with a smile on their faces. Unfortunately, we were required to close the Year 6 bubble yesterday which was a great disappointment to us all but we look forward to welcoming them back in December for all the Christmas festivities we have planned – they certainly won’t miss out! Speaking of not missing out, FOST have been hard at work to ensure that we can all experience the School Christmas Fair, albeit virtually. There are wonderful raffle prizes and shopping experiences and the children can enjoy the usual fun and games, brought to life via the Virtual Advent Calendar. FOST have also kindly organised a little gift for each of the girls. These will be given out next week and Year 6 will receive theirs when they are back in school. In a week where the news of a vaccine has filled us with hope for a brighter tomorrow, I am reminded of the words of Pope Francis who says: Life is often a desert, it is difficult to walk, but if we trust in God, it can become beautiful and wide as a highway Never lose hope; continue to believe, always, in spite of everything. Hope opens new horizons, making us capable of dreaming what is not even imaginable. Let us keep the Pope’s words in mind as we look beyond the desert and lift our eyes to the horizon.
Message For Year 6 Parents If you wish to accept the place for your daughter to join the Senior School in September 2021 please return your completed Form of Acceptance to Mrs Charles as soon as possible, but no later than Monday 7th December 2020 in order to guarantee the place.
Gentle Reminder Please could we gently remind all families not to meet up or organise parties and playdates, even within your daughter’s bubble. This is because additional family members are not within this bubble and it increases the risk of infection and subsequent bubble closures. Thank you for working in partnership with us to keep the school as safe as possible.
