Archipelago

The center portion of the park consists of a deep pool and beyond, a series of islands that can be visited by kayak. Deep water supports a range of aquatic species. Birds nest in this area away from most human activity.

A perimeter footpath around the rim of the park serves as a hiking trail for the sure-footed.
