Portrait of Donegal Man, Fragment is an unfinished work that followed the artist’s completion of two portraits of the same sitter, including Donegal Man (Profile) - illustrated above. All three paintings recently featured in the ‘Freud Project’ exhibition at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin.
