I was in the mix with Jim Mei and Bill when discussing the wall in these units. It was my opinion that we keep the wall in the end units and remove it in the interior units. Creates more diversity between product type, even if it's a small thing.
Unit A Main Level: Kitchen is strong in the sense that it has a ton of counter surface and lots of cabinets! I would also suggest in this unit to try to elongate the bathroom to provide more space in the kitchen. This one is harder, as it takes moving the fridge. Can fridge move to pantry? (which would need to be expanded) Relocate coat closet to the lower level, and set up the bathroom in same configuration as suggested in Unit B. Difference is to see if we can add a shallow pantry with along the where the fridge is now.
Unit B Main Level: Pretty common floorplan for size of unit. I always struggle with the powder bath as it encroaches so much into the kitchen area, both visually and physically. I would give up the coat closet and keep it on the lower level and try to elongate the bathroom by placing a pocket door along the wall facing the island, and then splitting the toilet and the sink. If that plane could run the same width as the pantry, it would feel much more spacious. I know most builders don't like to do pocket doors, but sometimes they can solve a lot of spatial problems. Pantry is outstanding and nook will feel good as there is not access to deck on that side or stairs. Hard to go too big on the island, and it does look to be good size, but slightly longer might be something to consider.
Unit A Upper Level: Lives like a primary and junior suite, so that is appealing and the room sizes are decent.
Unit B Upper Level: Secondary rooms are small, but that is unavoidable, and the primary suite is very good size. This upper level hits all the highpoints, with walk-in closet, double vanity and large shower in the Primary. Laundry room and linen closet are good.
I like the elevation of this building and feel the window package has a good design and will allow for plenty of natural light. I would suggest creating a courtyard space by providing a standard black vertical style fencing out front.
