& IB DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
MESSAGE FROM THE ACTING HEAD OF SCHOOL

It is with both pride and admiration that we recognise the achievements of Cranbrook’s Class of 2024. These young men have not only excelled academically but have also embraced the values of leadership, resilience and integrity that define our School.
This year’s cohort once again includes graduates who have embraced the IB Diploma Programme. This innovative approach to education, with its inquiry-based learning model equips our students with skills and perspectives that will distinguish them on both national and global stages. Equally, our HSC students have displayed extraordinary determination and courage in what is always a challenging set of examinations.
On behalf of the Cranbrook community, I extend my warmest congratulations to each member of the Class of 2024. Their accomplishments are a reflection of the School’s commitment to holistic education, fostering intellectual curiosity, emotional growth, and a strong moral foundation.
This year’s achievements build upon Cranbrook’s proud tradition of academic excellence. Our students have once again excelled in a wide range of subjects across both academic pathways, demonstrating the breadth and depth of their talents.
To the Class of 2024: as you prepare to embark on the next chapter of your lives, know that you carry with you the best wishes and unwavering support of your Cranbrook family. We are confident that you will approach the world beyond our gates with courage, curiosity, and warmth of spirit. May your journey be filled with continued success, personal fulfillment, and a lifelong love of learning.

MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SENIOR SCHOOL
Congratulations to the Class of 2024 on their exceptional HSC and IB Diploma Programme results.

Their results reflect not only their dedication and hard work but also the values we hold dear as a School—academic excellence, personal growth, and the pursuit of personal best.
At Cranbrook, we encourage every student to chart their unique pathway, whether through the HSC or IB Diploma Programme, fostering a love of learning and the flexibility to explore their potential. This year’s results exemplify this ethos, with outstanding accomplishments across both programmes.
Congratulations to James Rivlin and Matthew Radvin who have been named as our joint HSC Dux each with the highest achievable ATAR of 99.95. This is an outstanding achievement, and both students deserve our warmest congratulations. Caspar Nicholson has been named as Proxime Accessit of the 2024 HSC programme with an ATAR of 99.9. We congratulate Angus Malcolm, Charlie Xin and Anthony Chuang who have been named as our joint IBDP Dux with an outstanding 43 of a possible 45 (equivalent to an ATAR of 99). This is a wonderful achievement. Two students have achieved the accolade of Proxime Accessit of the 2024 IB programme with a score of 42 of a maximum 45 (ATAR equivalent of 98): William Colquhoun and Owen Woolford.
The depth of success within the Class of 2024 is evident in the remarkable number of entries on the HSC Distinguished Achievers List, with 15 students listed. Furthermore, the number of students achieving ATARs of 99 and above is truly commendable. Fourteen students achieved this incredible success. Our IB students have truly excelled, achieving an impressive average score of 36 significantly surpassing the global average of 29.
These achievements are a testament to the sustained effort, determination, and character of every student in this cohort. Their commitment to their studies and their desire to achieve their personal bests have been nothing short of inspiring.
I wish the Class of 2024 all the very best in what will undoubtedly be a bright and successful future for them all.
