Given this is our last regular season home game of the 2026 Sal’s NBL season, it is a good time for us to publicly thank all of you, our sponsors and fans, who have made this year such an exciting one.
Our major funders, the ILT and Community Trust South continue to show their faith in us - having you alongside us let’s us do what we do and we are very thankful. To all other sponsors and partners , your input is vital to our franchise and we couldn’t do what we do without you.
Rightly so our fans continued to be loud, proud and fabulous. I am hopeful that we have entertained you and we cannot thank you enough for your incredible parochial Shark Tank spirit during our ten home games this year.
For our team the season is far from over with one last road trip next weekend v old foes the Saints and a guaranteed spot in the finals series to follow. Our team has been a credit to our community and it has once again been a pleasure to have such fine young men within our SBS Southland Sharks’ basketball family.
It is fitting that we end our home season following the NBL’s Fan Appreciation Round. We appreciate you all so much.
