Dear Members of Convocation,
I am pleased to announce the appointment of KDBS Consulting (Pty) Ltd, an independent company (service provider) to conduct, on behalf of CPUT the 2025 Convocation, on-line elections of the President of the Convocation and members of the Convocation Executive of the CPUT Convocation
Having followed a transparent and competitive procurement process in accordance with the provisions of the CPUT Procurement Policy, MANCOM has approved the appointment of KDBS Consulting (Pty) Ltd, as the external independent service provider selected to conduct the on-line convocation election process on behalf of CPUT.
The office of the Registrar will make the Convocation Roll available to KDBS Consulting (Pty) Ltd to conduct the on-line convocation election process in accordance and with strict adherence to the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and laws governing the protection and processing of personal data.
Therefore, Convocation Members are reminded to confirm and/ or update their contact details on the Convocation roll, particularly their cell phone number and email address.
KDBS Consulting (Pty)Ltd will create a Convocation election website to communicate with convocation members and/or publish requisite information on the election processes.
* Details of the election website will be communicated to the Convocation Members in due course.
