Advanced Diploma - Interior Design slide

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology implemented the Advanced Diploma in Interior Design, at the start of 2020. This programme will be offered as a one-year full-time programme in 2022. The popular two-year part-time programme is still available and runs over two years, to accommodate a diverse range of students, including non-traditional, mature and working practitioners. Thanks to the blended learning design, comprising office-based mentoring, on-campus blocks and online facilitation, these programmes have run smoothly despite the Covid-19 disruption. The 2022 application cycle is now open, the deadline is 30 September 2021. The Advanced Diploma in Interior Design, accepts applicants that already have a 3-year, National Diploma / Diploma / Degree in either INTERIOR DESIGN or ARCHITECTURE or ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY. An RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) application process, is open to mature age students 23+, who have extensive industry experience, yet do not have the three-year Diploma.
