WHAT YOU NEED
Minimum Admission Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with:
• English: Home Language or First Additional Language (4)
• Mathematics (3); or Maths Literacy (5); or Technical Maths (4)
Recommended:
• Technical Drawing and Design subjects
The department utilises an Admission Point Score (APS) as selection criteria once your minimum admission requirements are satisfied. You also have to score a minimum of 28 with Mathematics or with Mathematical Literacy for the Diploma, on the APS.
Note: All students are required to report to campus on the first day of the academic year, as this is a practical course that is studio-based, and the method of delivery is face-to-face.

Your on-the-job training
