Photography is the art, science and practice of making, processing and delivering images to the fastpaced world of modern visual communication.

All current genres of photography are explored.

You will be set on track to become a professional digital image-maker, with numerous and exciting career options, including glamorous fashion photography, highend advertising imagery, sophisticated people and lifestyle depictions, reportage, art, and more.

Three years, full-time

WHAT YOU NEED Minimum Admission Requirements National Senior Certificate (NSC/ Grade 12) or, for Foreign Applicants, an approved equivalent with a Bachelor’s pass, with: • Home Language and First Additional Language, one of which must be English (4)

The department utilises an Admission Point Score (APS) as selection criteria once your minimum admission requirements are satisfied. You also have to score a minimum of 30 on the APS.

Your on-the-job training In your third year, you will be required to do in-service training for a minimum of 4 weeks at a CPUT-accredited employer.
