WHAT YOU NEED
Minimum Admission Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with:
• English Home Language or First Additional Language (4)
• Mathematics (3); or Mathematics Literacy (4)
• Life Sciences (4)
Recommended:
• Physical Sciences (3)
The department utilises an Academic Point Score (APS) as selection criteria once your minimum admission requirements are satisfied. You have to score a minimum of 24 with Mathematics and 25 with Mathematics Literacy on the APS.
Preference will be given to candidates with higher APS scores.
Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Kindly note: All students accepted for the Somatology course will be required to have received Hepatitis inoculation.
