Minimum Admission Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with:
• English (4)
• Mathematics (4) or Technical Maths (5)
• Physical Sciences (4)
The department utilises an Admission Point Score (APS) as selection criteria once your minimum admission requirements are satisfied. You also have to score a minimum of 30 with Mathematics; or 31 with Technical Maths on the APS for the mainstream. Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP): 28 with Mathematics; or 29 with Technical Maths.
Note: Meeting minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. Subject to space, students may be admitted to the ECP with a score of 45% or above in either Mathematics or Physical Sciences, if they scored 50% or above in the other.
