Three years, full-time (Mainstream)

Four years, full-time (Extended Curriculum Programme). First year subjects offered over two years.

WHAT YOU NEED

Minimum Admission Requirements

National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with:

• English (4)

• Mathematics (4) or Technical Maths (5)

• Physical Sciences (4)

The department utilises an Academic Point Score (APS) as selection criteria once your minimum admission requirements are satisfied. The following minimum scores apply: 30 with Mathematics (ECP: 28); 31 with Technical Maths (ECP: 29)

Note: Meeting minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. Subject to space, students may be admitted to the Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) if they have scored at least 45% (3) for Physical Sciences or Mathematics, and provided a score of at least 50% (4) in the remaining two required subjects is obtained.
