My favorite memory this PACN season has to be being able to experience this season as a coordinator for the first time. It may have been cut short, but being able to do PACN from a different viewpoint was eye-opening. Having done 2 PACNs in the past, being able to spread the culture as a coordinator this time has a different feel from learning about it and showcasing it on stage.

To the RURAL SUITE, thank you for being patient with me, Albert, and Kris! We appreciate the time and effort that you all put into learning Pasigin and Pandanggo sa Ilaw. We hope you take to heart everything that you learned from the practices and never forget it!

To BIG HERO STICKS, thank you for the amount of hard work you put into Tinik! It’s amazing to have been able see how much you all improved since the beginning of Tinik workshops. Being able to see you run through the entire choreo just once was enough for us to believe that you would’ve killed it on stage. We have said this multiple times before, but we can never express enough how proud we are of you all!

I think my favorite memory was watching all the members audition for acting. From working with them during acting workshops to watching how much they grew was really admirable.

My favorite memory from PACN season was probably the PACN reveal. Before PACN season even started, I kept telling my ate “oh yeah sure

I’ll audition for a role” especially since it would be her last PACN since she’s graduating, but as soon as the auditions came around I remember contemplating if I should even go because I was so scared and nervous since I had never done anything like this before. I remember getting to the classroom where they were holding auditions and I was extremely nervous but told myself to go in and to just do my best and whatever happens happens.

Flash forward to PACN reveal and I remember the board going through the slide show and they had passed all of the supporting roles and I knew that there were only two female lead roles so I said to myself “oh well I guess I didn’t get a role but that’s okay at least I tried.” So when they called my name for Valerie I was honestly so shocked and just felt so excited for what was to come. When practices started, I would get my schedule for the week and although it was Monday-Thursday and for about 4-5 hours each day, including the dances I was doing, it didn’t matter because it was always a lot of fun. I would get home late everyday and stay up even later to do homework but I knew all the hard work and practice would be worth it in the end. I wasn’t active my first year in Barkada and so now that I am slowly getting more involved, I have already met so many amazing people and have started to hangout with everyone a lot more. It makes me wish that I had been more active my first year but it’s all being made up for now. My roommates are also in the play and it’s so much fun for the three of us to all be apart of something together. With how much fun I’ve already been having and all the great memories I’ve made this year, it only makes me want to be more active again next year.

This one Tuesday night, since I had class during the practices for the dances I was in, I had to learn like 18 eight counts total for two of the dances I was in. Then, after that I had more practice and learned another like 7! It was super exhausting but super fun:)

Since I lived on campus, when I would go to late night Centre Point with some of the first years after!

My favorite memory in PACN is getting to work with all the actors this year as an Acting

Director. Getting to see all the actors and actresses grow from workshops to practices was amazing. My favorite exercise was when we would do improv and seeing everyone’s creative and funny mindsets come to life was a blast to see. Some of my favorite moments in the play were the jungle cruise scenes and poggers. Shoutout to my actor mentee Paul, you were phenomenal as Jed.

Experiencing the first full run through of Eskrima's choreo and we were all like :000 that was extra s p i c e y with some paprika and habanero sauce.

Robert Aceret

my favorite memory from pacn szn is being chosen to be the prince for vinta! I honestly was hesitant about auditioning for lead for any of my dances and it’s crazy that I got lead for the dance I really enjoy!!! also getting allyra as my vinta princess was another favorite memory ily allyra <3

Being a part of a team, whether it was acting, Tinik, Swing, Maria Clara, etc. It felt like family and to be able to engage in my heritage with the people I love is something I’ll always cherish. CJ Banawa Finding out I made the Tinik Team :) Marlon Aquino My favorite memory was showcase and maria clara practice bc although i wasn’t able to make it to some events, seeing a mini run through of what our pacn would have looked like was fun. you could already see the joy and excitement in people’s faces as they were about to perform a snippet of the dance/ scene they were in. seeing the energy others had while cheering their friends on was something i was looking forward to for pacn. plus during mc practice everyone was working together easily and everyone had a fun time doing so :p Micah Winzelle Mercado Ethan Francisco So many memories, but my favorites have to be working on programs and historian committee with my co, Patricia <3 Other than that Swing with Mavie and Eskrima with my Ateh Alex coordinating, she did amazing!!! All the coordinators did amazing! Honestly, I’ve enjoyed every second with the tinik team. From our team reveal, partner reveal, learning choreography, messing it up, messing with coordinators and creating a bond. I miss and love you all Big Hero Sticks <3 My favorite memory from PACN season was being a dance coordinator for swing and modern. Seeing how many members joined both dances and were so excited for them each and every practice made me feel so incredibly happy and appreciated. Watching my dance babies improve every practice was also so rewarding and will forever be an experience I will cherish having. SHOUTOUT

TO MY SWING CO-COORD ADRIAN AND

MY MODERN CO-COORDS ANDREW, ALEXIS, AND ERICKSON I LOVE Y’ALL <3 I think the moments that’ll make me cry in nostalgia when I think of PACN is when the coordinators from each of the dances/officers, form a circle with everyone. I get to interact with everyone in that circle, learn about the culture through the assignments and/or questions, and etc. I think that PACN is the best because of the people I experience each moment with; that is why the cold that we felt out at the CLA, food from the food runs, the chatter in the background, and all the other small pieces that make up the memories seem to spark when I think of the moments when each dance creates their circle, or when PACN practices open and close within a circle. Allyra Liquigan Being able to spend time w my fam!

I got so busy w work and school I was so happy I got to see them and dance w them!

Nathan Maulino Darrel Varquez

being able to coordinate Maria Clara with JP!:-) even if it was only for a little bit. it was my first year as a coordinator so i was able to learn a lot from it. My favorite memory is just overall seeing my tinik team every time we meet for practice. The best part of our practices is how hype everyone gets when we do a formation really well. The energy is seriously incredible and I love them so much (:

Leanna Gan Genshel Naguiat

Jya Bagnol Alexa Grace Ordonez JP Quimosing Albert Andres Joshua Regal Kyla Geraldo My favorite memory of pacn is falling in love with my swing and pandanggo sa ilaw partner if I’m bein rl honest ~it’s gross and gushy I know lol~ but if we’re putting in the yearbook. my favorite memory after that is any chance I had to teach my kordilyera bb’s and being an acting director for the actors especially my amazing mentee Andrea Mae Cunanan. My favorite memory from PACN season would just be getting to meet so many new people and making new friends such as my swing partner KYLA NINI GHIRARDELLI, even though she kinda gave me a sprained thumb one time.

I only joined Barkada this semester so I didn’t really know anyone and it was through PACN practices that I was able to talk to a lot of new people and form so many new friendships. I am just so glad I decided to involve myself in PACN and participate in all these dances because of all the people I was able to meet. Seeing our tinik team perform at showcase c: OR Seeing our tinik team go through their entire choreo for the first time OR Showcase when the entire cast and crew finally came out together for the first time OR Seeing our cast and crew slowly grow from really small to really big OR When

Pasigin went through their entire choreo for the first time. i’m sorry i couldnt pick one One of my favorite memories from PACN szn is showcase because I got to see it all start to come together and see pretty much the entirety of PACN cast and crew come together and it warmed my heart sooooooo much. One of my other favorite memories was collaborating with the acting directors, Adrian, and Robert for certain scenes because they always made it a fun time and helped me turn my poopoo peepee thoughts into something hehe. Another favorite memory was when Jazzerine and I were thinking of names for PACN in tagalog and I said Edi Wala and I probably also said Nakaka (something) and Jazzerine probably got a nakaka nosebleed from my broken tagalog. meeting my swing partner joshua aaron caprisun regal! he hit me in the head too many times :( also spending more time w my roomies and making more friends <3 When the tinik team would show nothing but love and support whenever someone would struggle with choreography Ma Vien Dizon As a coordinator for the Traditionalist Suite, my favorite memory was when our choreography for Binaylan Banog came together. After multiple weeks passing by, it was our first time seeing all our dancers coming together. The excitement and happiness just took over me because even though it was the first time, it was coming all together and I could see that our dancers were really into it and having fun. My favorite memory was coordinating the Maria Clara suite with Leanna. I had a great time from being chosen to coordinate all the way to actually teaching the choreography. Also, being apart of PACN XXX Board with Patricia HAHAHHAHAH. 31
