HISTORIAN

Hello everyone, this is the end of the program and you’re probably wondering why this is here.

Welcome to the PACN annual historian corner! Thank you to everyone who participated in our PACN XXX Kailangan Kita! I enjoyed every second getting to know all of you during the cold nights at the CLA and during the day at the API. It is unfortunate that the season abruptly came to a stop for a while, but through everyone’s efforts, love for this club, and passion for the Filipinx-American culture, PACN is here to stay! Without all of you, this program would not have been possible.

To my Bougi-E Board, there are no other people I would have gone through this year with. It was one of the most hectic years of Barkada in terms of events, but you all made the sweat and sleepless nights undeniably worthwhile. During my hardest times this year, all of you have been one of my biggest support systems, and I am here to support each and every one of you without hesitation. Thank you for making my second year of college unforgettable, Bougi-E Board. To Alexa, Jazzerine, and PACN board, thank you for dedicating your time and efforts towards working behind the scenes of celebrating our culture. I commend all of you for being resilient, willing, and adaptable during these difficult times. Despite not having the traditional platform to showcase PACN, that did not stop you from putting on a celebration of the Filipinx-American culture for everyone. Congratulations to your hard work and achievements this PACN season! They do not go unnoticed. To my historian committee heads, Kyle and Patricia, wow. When I first appointed you both I honestly didn’t know what to expect. This whole PACN season, you both never failed to impress me. Kyle and Patricia, you have combined your passions for creating and your passions for your culture. I hope you both continue to push yourselves and I can’t wait to see each of you grow. I’m always here to support you both! To my parents and family, thank you for being so supportive and accepting of the time and effort I put into Barkada. On top of my school learning, this club has given me a support system of friends and mentors and has taught me lessons I cannot find in a classroom. I hope to continue to share with you what I have learned and how much Barkada means to me. I love you! To my adings Marlon and Kaitlin, congrats on your first PACN! I am so proud of you both for earning your spots on the tinikling team. I hope you learned more about your culture, made new friends, and most importantly, had fun! To my first two adings and my new ading Jeri, I love seeing all of you coming out to events or even just being down to spend time with me and our line. It makes me happy to see you guys make your mark in the club and see you three grow as individuals. I will always be here for you, adings. To my ate Leika, thank you for everything you have done for me! You have been such a positive influence on me, even if you do not see it For one, you are one of the biggest #ReasonsWhyIDoPACN. Thank you again. I miss you and I love you. To Allyra, my best friend and my egg, thank you for lending me a hand during that one runthrough during my first PACN.

To the Bougi-E babies, I hope you all use this club as an opportunity to do things you could have never imagined. Barkada can be the light during the darkest times, whether it be through attending meetings and socials, participating in KAA and intramurals, joining I-board and committees, or just simply loitering with others. It is ok to look back, but the most important thing is keep moving forward. I am more than blessed to have been able to capture all of it!

CORNER

Hello everyone! Before I begin, I would like to thank you for allowing me to be your PACN Programs Committee Head for this school year. I am super lucky to be working with a talented, strong group of people. Even though I was not able to participate in any dances this school year, I am grateful for still being able to help in a way I enjoy! I do apologize for the lack of photos in some parts of the yearbook. Due to COVID-19, everything ended abruptly causing there to be no photoshoots. As an alternative, I resorted to the pictures we had from PACN Showcase. I hope your fellow cast and crew’s favorite memories make up for the missing photos. Though we were all put in a tough situation because of COVID-19, it was inspiring to see everyone come together and overcome it.

Thank you Nathan, Jazzerine, and Alexa for choosing me to be the Programs committee head for this school year. I would like to say a big thank you to my committee co, Kyle Libramonte. I am for sure going to miss our late night sessions working on our projects for PACN. (I honestly already do.) I truly am blessed for being able to work closely with you! I would also like to thank my family, my friends, my ading Micah plus the rest of Glenline, and my #1 JP for always being there for me. <3

I hope you all enjoyed this yearbook as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Patricia Anne Babia

To everyone that put out their heart and soul into every single moment we’ve had together during this experience, thank you. It was an honor being your PACN XXX Historian Committee head because it allowed me to see each and everyone one of you in a different perspective. Some of you who were shy came out of your shell and I could see the genuine happiness from all your laughter and smiles. Seeing you all work hard during practices and spending the extra hours just to get a little bit better for the next rehearsal made me so happy because the passion was very present during and throughout this entire experience. I am grateful to have been able to capture all the moments, film an amazing commercial with an amazing team, and continuously be there with you all during that “5 til we’re done” block. Remember that even in the conditions we’re in, we still pushed to make this happen because nothing can stop the culture and we always have to keep moving forward. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Patricia for being there by my side in making the program, brainstorming, and the late nights so that we could finish a program so that all the cast and crew members could reminisce. I hope you all had an exceeding amount of fun during this program while we still could and I thank everyone for all their hard work and efforts. Love y’all, and remember to always smile!

Sincerely, Kyle Libramonte
