President I can’t believe it’s time to say goodbye already, Barkada. It’s been such an amazing year, and I am honored to have been your president throughout this journey. On behalf of Dream-E-Board, we’d just like to extend a huge Thank You to every single one of you for making this 34th year of Barkada another success. Whether you went to all of our events or just one, or joined from Summer Luau or from PACN, every single one of you has contributed something important and meaningful to Barkada. You all bring something unique to the table, so I really encourage you all, Dreamy babies and Barkada returners alike, to keep growing as individuals and keep giving your all to this family. I see so much potential in all of you, and I can’t wait to see where you take this club together. I know it sounds cheesy, but hey it’s Banquet, I get to be cheesy. ~ya nd liek i luv u all v3ry mUch XoXo <333.~ Shout out to my family line for being so cool, I love you guys. Shout out to Class-E-Board for being yourselves, I can always count on you all for a great time. And thanks to all other E-Boards before us for keeping Barkada tradition alive. I know I keep telling you to keep reevaluating yourselves and to keep improving yourself, but here we are at the finish line. Look back at this year and be proud of everything we’ve accomplished together. There’s a reason I wanted our board name to be “Dream-E-Board” and it’s because I knew this board would be the one of my dreams. I’m so proud of you all, and I love you all. Oh hey Barkada! How’s your summer? Lol, jk. This year has certainly been one to remember. I mean, where do I even begin? From summer adventures, to Friendship Games, to Sportsfest, and all the way to PACN, it was definitely one hell of a ride. And to that, I only have one thing to say - thank you! Thank you for making not just my final year in Barkada, but my final year in college what it was. The members of Barkada: I just wanna say that you’re all amazing individuals. Year in and year out, you continue to show what Barkada truly is - a bunch of trolls (lol) who come together and do something amazing. For Friendship Games, it doesn’t matter what the theme is, or how small we are compared to other schools, you continue to SPUF your hearts out! Sportsfest continues to be a successful tournament thanks to all of you for volunteering and coordinating. And this is all I have to say about PACN - another year, another great show! If you guys continue along this path, I know Barkada will be able to accomplish amazing things in the future! I’ll be looking forward to seeing it! Sarangh-A-Board: It’s funny, I’ve been a part of 3 A-Boards and I’ve never imagined having my own. I just wanna thank you guys for all your hard work this year. From Penny Wars, to A-Board Runs, to planning Family Feud, you guys have done a remarkable job and I’m proud of you guys. I still remember that how there were so many of you for our first meeting that people had to stand in the corners. I’ve never seen the conference room that packed! If there’s anything I regret, it’s how many A-Board Nights we had. You guys definitely deserved more. 사랑해 (Saranghae)! Dream-E-Board: It’s been quite the journey and I’m sad to see our term ending. We’ve all worked so hard and endured so much. Rochelle, Justin, and Carissa, I honestly had a few doubts about the you guys after being elected. But I will gladly say that you quickly changed my mind and have done an incredible job, not just with your respective positions, but as board members in general. Paige, I’m glad that us, non-Pilipinos, got to spend another year on board together. Our PACN is gonna happen! I don’t know when, but it’ll happen! Mark, Juli, and RJ, having been a chair last year, I understand how just how tough this year may have been for you. But know that you all have done an outstanding job, and I’m very proud of the work you’ve done. Maurice and Hannah, you two have been the unsung heroes of this board. You guys have worked really hard this entire year, even though it goes unnoticed by many. I’m sure we can all agree that you guys have definitely been two of the most reliable board members, and I can’t thank you both enough. Cody and Aldrin, I’ve known you both the longest out of everyone on this board and I can’t express just how proud I am of the two of you. I’m so proud to see how far you’ve come along these past 4 year. I’ve seen you come in as little freshmen, and grow up before my eyes, from both of you being Sportsfest coordinators and PACN dance coordinators, and being elected to your respective positions on E-Board. Iggy, what is there to say? We made it, we made it! But really though, we did work this year. I really admire how you’ve been able to lead all of us and help us all grow as leaders and individuals. I definitely could not have asked for anyone else to work alongside with, than you. However, I’m sorry for any times when I wasn’t there for you as your VP. From being on board with you since last year, I’m really glad that we’ve been able to become as close as we have and I really do consider you to be one of my best friends because of it. It has been my pleasure to be your VP. Thank you guys again for this year. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to have gone on this journey with than you 12 amazing individuals, and I’m gonna miss our time together (well, except for Cody and Aldrin’s trolling because that was hell). I’m glad to have gotten to know all of you and to call you my friends. I’ll be looking forward to the next time we all get together and hang out, so we can ALL (yes, that means you too Hannah) do WWIII and play True American! Adings: YOU GUYS SUCK! Lol, jk. I honestly couldn’t have asked for any better adings than the three of you. Jerald, I’m glad that you were active, despite not even being a Cal Poly student ever since last year. Marielle, I know that I kinda troll on you a bit too much and might end up coming off as a jerk sometimes, and I’m sorry. But know that I really do love having you around and hanging out with you. Also, I know that you’re super sad that I’m done with school, but I’m sorry, there’s nothing I can do about it now lol. April, you are the baby of this family lol. I’m really glad you enjoyed your first in Barkada, and of how active you were considering your major. But I’m especially glad to see you run for board. Good luck with elections and regardless of the results, I’m proud of you for taking on this challenge. Also, get your license already so I can stop driving you around everywhere lol. RJ Reyes Academics Chair Last words already? Wow where did this year go by. Coordinating the 1st Maurice was just too amazing and being able to continue on and coordinate Rural Suite with Hannah made this year even more eventful. Coordinating Bowling and doing all the Friendship Games prep was pretty fun as well. I never expected exactly how much time I would invest into Barkada, but I can honestly say that every minute was worth it. To Dream-E-Board, thank you for all the support and help you’ve given me throughout the year. “Thirteen strong” has never had any meaning to me until this year. I can’t imagine myself with anyone but you guys. It has really been a great year with you guys. To Snap-P-Grad Board, you all gave up your time to serve on my board and there’s no measure to how thankful I am to you guys for that. I’m sorry I wasn’t that great of a president but you guys are all amazing people. Thank you so much for everything you guys have done this year and we still need an e-board night! To my ading Ronnel, I’m sorry we haven’t hung out as much as we did last year but hopefully we can hang out more often again. We can go on more food adventures and hit up the places on our list that we haven’t gone to, if we can even find that list. External Affairs Thanks Barkada No really, thanks for everything. This year has been a roller coaster of excitement, joy, triumph, friendship and fun. I only hope the best for you all. To my kuya, Kuya, thanks for taking me in as your ading and showing me how amazing Barkada could be. I’m so proud that you made it, AKA Graduated. To my adings, I LOVE YOU! I’m so glad I picked up everyone of you up as my adings. I am proud to call myself your kuya. I’ve seen you all start off as shy new members and turn Barkada into your own space, making new friends and finding your own way. I’m proud of everything you guys do, from doing PACN to joining committees to help out in any way you can. All your hugs, hellos, and smiles are what kept me smiling going through the difficult days. We need to have some family hangouts during summer, Tastea here we come! To P.O.T. LINE, P.O.T. LINE FOREVER!!!! But anyway, hello to those actually reading our “last words”!! I put my ‘last words’ off till the last minute of my time on my mini-vacation. I know I’ve only been gone for a week, but there was a point on my cruise where I actually missed you guys. Ha, gaaaay. Really though, I was thinking about how the executive speeches went, how our final dream-e-meeting was going, how fun our last e-board night while active on Dream-E-Board was, what might have been going on in the API or just the usual thangs that go on around campus. A year has flown by once again and it’s time to say goodbye. This time for myself along with the rest of Dream-E-Board, it’s our final goodbye from eboard. I remember being elected one year ago and I had a great feeling about this board from that moment. I felt we were all in the perfect position for us as individuals— we were in our niche!!!!! YAH. And that feeling was right. I’ve experienced THE BEST year with the 12 of us on board. I wish I could be there with you all celebrating our end of term, but I just wanted to thank Dream-E-Board for everything. Seriously. This whole year has felt like a dream, it’s sad that it’s over, but we had a hell of a run! Words can’t really describe the freaking great year we had, but we did it and most of all, #thanksbarkada!

“The Best of Us” Cast, honestly, I cannot thank you all enough for the hard work and dedication you gave me and codes these past few months. I know it was hard at times but I hope you all feel like it was worth it in the end. I’m so proud of all of you leaving your hearts on that stage. It was a struggle sometimes because it was so many of your first PACNs, but it’s okay because in the end I’m glad “The Best of Us” was your first because I hope it’ll hold a special place in your heart, like you guys will always have a place in mine. Script leads, oh my gosh guys, it was a long process but we made it through and I am so proud of each of you. Thank you so much for your hard work and for dealing with me and the acting directors constantly drilling you on your scenes. But I want you to all know you killed it out on that stage, really. Amazing job guys. Special shoutout to Roice and Nathan. I’ll say more in the letters I owe you, which I will get to you… eventually. But for now, just thank you and I love you guys. A great big thank you to Tristan! Dude, thanks so much for stepping up and taking so much upon yourself for PACN. Sports Chair Hey Barkada! Wow. What a year it has been. Once again, Barkada has shown me why I love this club so much. Every year has always been different, and this year was no exception. From all the members involved, all the events throughout the year, and all the memories we have shared and created. Barkada has always been my family away from home; my second family. And for that, I just wanted to say, thanks Barkada. To the Dream-E Freshmen/Transfers: I am glad that you guys joined Barkada. Barkada would not exist without the continued support of new and fresh faces. Thank you for taking that extra step, to put in your time and effort into this club. You guys are the future of Barkada, and I hope that you guys continue on with its traditions. To my adings, Celeste and Renz: I’m glad that I picked you both up as my adings. You guys both bring different characters to Barkada, and I am proud of what you guys did this year. Hopefully, you guys stay active in Barkada for the next years, and I am always here for you guys! To my Sportsfest XXV: Witness Greatness Coordinators and Staff: THANK YOU. Without you guys, Sportsfest would not have been possible. Sportsfest was not only my event, but it was all of yours who helped and took part in it. To my fellow Dream-E-Board members: WE MADE IT, WE MADE IT. I honestly could not have asked for better board members. The chemistry that we had together definitely made people witness greatness in the best of us. It only seemed liked yesterday that we got elected. Cody Guerrero BEC Barkada has always been my home and family for the past 4 years. I made it my first priority when I was on Eboard and when I was not. All I can say is thank you for the struggle and the memories. This whole year went by so quick and such a surprise. To be honest this year has been the greatest year ever for me. First and foremost, I would like to give a big shout out to everyone in the Entertainment Companies: Barkada Band : Thank you to Tristan, Rogelle, and Verdejo for helping me so much this whole year. We didn’t have a lot of gigs but when you guys performed it was memorable. You guys did major work during PACN, Whether it was the transitions, playing background music, playing with Rondalla, and even composing your very own songs this year. I can’t thank you enough for all the hard work you’ve done. Thank you to Julia & Lydia for working with us from summer to now in making Barkada’s very own first originals possible. To all the members of Julia and the Bang Bros continue the trolling and playing. (Hopefully you keep the awesome name.) PNotes: Thank you to everyone on Pnotes for willing to sing. Even though we didn’t have a lot of gigs or opportunities to sing outside of school, you all were willing to sing no matter what. CDT: CDT! 23 gigs. 23 GIGS! Geez that’s crazy. Thank you to everyone who was a part of CDT from summer to now. For the whole year, you guys sacrifice your time to practice for dances and gigs. I hope you all had fun cause I definetly had the greatest time of my life. The free food and the line dancing was only made possible by your willIngness to dance. Birdies: mmmmmm birdie. Denise: You have always been there for me even before we started dating/talking. You constantly asked me about costumes during summer -_-. I can’t thank you enough for always reminding me of why I wanted to be on board and always motivating me do better. Thank you for always listening to me when I complain about everything. Thank you for helping alot with cdt. I couldnt have survive the gigs during school year without you. Now with all the free time we can go everywhere now! Kuya Shea: Thank you for always being there for me. It’s because of you that I really wanted to be on board in the first place. You have constantly been my motivation throughout my years in Barkada. Seeing you always step up has always pushed me to do my best and give back to the family just like you have. Irwin, Erik, Janna, and Roice: raunchy line and the freeloader line. I have seen all of you grown up a lot since I first met you and thank you for letting me troll on you guys in the process. You guys still have a lot more years in Barkada, all I can say to you all is enjoy it and make it the best. Even though I won’t be as active next year expect us to eat out a lot and grab free stuff. Rochelle: I know I don’t say or show it a lot but I am really proud of you ads. From last year till now you continue to always push yourself and always exceed in every obstacles that has been thrown at you. FABROS: Maurice and Sean please relay this shoutout to Tito, Tita, and Lola. Just wanted to say thank you. You all opened your home for Me, Board, and people in Barkada. That feeling you all felt right after pacn: the memories, reminiscing and withdrawals, the sense of Barkada coming together as a family is the exact reason I come back to Barkada every year. Use that same feeling to make Barkada even better in the future. Dream-E board: it was a tough journey but we made it we made it. Dream-E Board: This year. All out accomplishments. All our (very few) struggles. UGH, SO WONDERFUL. I’m so grateful to have been able to share this amazing experience with each of you and I’m so proud to call myself a member of Dream-E Board 2013-2014. Rochelle: Working with you was always great because you you’ve always been on top of your duties. You always got event photos uploaded so fast! Thank you for always making yourself available when we needed to film things, even when they were super last minute. Justin: You’re so fun and full of life. YOU’RE JUSTIN *fall off pillow skateboard* It’s been great working with you this year- in the events I was in charge of, you’ve always been down to help out in so many ways, whether it’s driving somewhere, making car frames in the API all alone during Hype Nights, etc. Thank you for everything. Paige: PAAAAIIIGE! It’s been wonderful being on E-Bort with you these 2 years, and being able to vent and talk about things that are “sooo stuuupid!!” You are one if the coolest people I know and all the flyers you make are always super pretty & hella on point. Sorry for always sending my PR request forms (and everything I’m writing right now) so late. It’s been an honor working with you and I’m so happy to be friends (and former housemates) with you. Carissa: My successor! It’s too bad MCC never asked you all to do cultural presentations! You did work as ASI/MCC Rep and our internal club relations & involvement have become much stronger this year- I’m so proud of you, gurl. Aldrin: You’re so fun and funny and full of great ideas, like making PACN backstage passes. Even if we didn’t really work together on planning each other’s events all that much (and I’m like the opposite of everything sports-related), I’m glad to have served on E-Board with such an exceptional Athletics Chair. Juli: Everything you’ve accomplished this year, from Culture Corner since summer, to PAHM, to everything PACN has been nothing short of amazing. Also, your speech on the last PACN practice was bomb, I loved it. It’s been a wonderful two years on board with you. RJ: From the start, being on E-Board with you was the funnest. Watching people struggle with Maglalatik coconuts (or wear really pointy ones), or doing sucky tasks like storage cleanupthere was always something fun (or something funny to laugh about) with you around. Maurice F.: My fellow Steezy Oldie. Thanks for everything you’ve done & everything you’ve provided for this E-Board & this club. To the general members, W hat can I say to you all that hasn’t been said?It is my last year here at C al P oly and it has been a great one to say the least. From our first place performance at FPAC during the summer to our championship football team and FG cars in the fall,to one hell of a spring with Sportsfest and PACN, t onow, something brought you to this point reading my lame last words. And whether you were here from the beginning or just joined yesterday, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have given to this club... you have given us something everyone (including myself) wishes they had more of , something irreplaceable, something I can only hope you keep giving to this club. You have given us your time. And yes I know it sounds cheesy, but some of us may not realize how valuable each second is until we find ourselves up at 5 in the morning trying to finish a project that is due at 8am. Our time is precious and for you to have given us all the hours that you have is incredible. Thank you for the time you have put into this club , a ll the memories that come with itand allowing me to share those memories with you as your Treasurer. To my Adings: Lydia, Perry, Maya, Audrey, When the heck are we going to hang out all together? o Dream-E Board, T Its been one hell of a run. This year I have spent working with you is going down as one of the best years of my life so far. I am so sad that it has to end. During last year’s banquet I could see the potential we had as a board and I had high expectations for us. Not only did we meet those expectations, we surpassed them ten times over. Look back at all we have done and accomplished: the fundraising in the summer, winning chess at retreat, PAHM, Friendship Games, Family Games, that weekend we took all our friends to Big Bear, Sportsfest, PACN just to name a few. I am so proud of what we have done. I can honestly say that each time we put something together we made #newlegends. I t has been a #dreamseason working with all of you.From the first moment #wemadeit as a board having our firstmeeting under the stairs of Royal Vista to now, something about this board just clicked. It was so easy to for us to get things done, as if we had been together for years. It has been a real privilege getting to know you guys and getting to #witnessgreatnessinthebestofus. Secretary Wow, what a crazy year. I want to thank all the dreamies for making this past year an unforgettable one. I especially want to thank some very important people who helped me throughout this year. First and foremost, Dream-E-Board: Iggy, Rhee, Fabros, Juli, RJ, Mark, Aldrin, Carissa, Rochelle, Cody, Justin & Paige. I remember when we first got elected to board and all of the emotions that overcame me that night. To be honest, not knowing much of you guys on board was overwhelming, but getting to know you guys and spending so much time with you guys makes me appreciate you all and your hard work. It’s been real. I love you guys and I’m thankful that we struggled together and overcame this year together. #wemadeitwemadeit This truly was a dream season and you are my dream team. I hope you guys continue to pursue success after board and for the rest of your lives! I love you Dream-E-Board, and I hope our friendship does not end here!
