150 YEARS OF HEALTH & CARE

Gesund werden, gesund bleiben! Diesem Leitmotto folgt das Team der Internationalen Apotheke in Wien bereits seit mehr als 150 Jahren.

Die Wahl des Namens erklärt sich folgendermaßen: „Die Apotheke ist am Kärntner Ring Nr. 17/Ecke Schwarzenbergplatz direkt neben und gegenüber jenen Hotels gelegen, die den meisten Wiener Fremdenverkehr aufweisen. Alle Magister und Mitarbeiter sprechen fremde Sprachen (derzeit sind es 13). Man besitzt sämtliche ausländische Pharmakopöen, sowie auch alle anderen Behelfe und das Haus wird auch immer wieder von anderen Wiener Apotheken zur Anfertigung von internationalen Rezepten herangezogen.“

Mit großer Begeisterung und viel Engagement führte Frau Mag. Baldia das Unternehmen in das 21. Jahrhundert und verlieh dem historischen Geschäftslokal ein frisches, modernes Gesicht. Das Wichtigste blieb edoch unverändert: eine Anlaufstelle für Kunden aus dem In­ und Ausland, eine Brücke zwischen Nationalitäten, Sprachen, Heilmethoden und Arzneiformen zu sein.

Get healthy, stay healthy! The team at the International Pharmacy in Vienna has been following this guidance for more than 150 years. The choice of name is explained as follows:

“The pharmacy is located at Kärntner Ring no. 17 on the corner of Schwarzenbergplatz, directly next to and opposite those hotels that have the most Viennese tourist traffic. All of our pharmacists and other employees speak foreign languages (currently 13). They have all the foreign pharmacopoeias, as well as all the other aids, and the house is also frequently called upon by other Viennese pharmacies to prepare international prescriptions.”

Bridging Nationalities

With great enthusiasm and dedication, Mrs. Baldia has brought the company into the 21st century by giving the historic premises a fresh, modern face. The most important things, however, remain unchanged: to be a contact point for customers from home and abroad, a solid bridge between nationalities, languages, healing methods and forms of medicine.
