Evergreen Materials

All of the materials unrelated to Tech Days have been designed for use throughout the year. For this campaign, we want as much out as possible. Afterward, these can easily be added into holds or displays to continue connecting customers to our digital resources.

- A bookmark was designed for each digital resource the campaign is focusing on.

- Each includes a short description and list of features, as well as a QR code that links to the Library’s Stream/Download page.

- The Stream/Download page has been updated to include all of the featured resources in the campaign. This will ensure a smooth experience for customers who might be new to our digital resources.

Important Display Notes

In lieu of a traditional “table display” at each branch, we’d like to try targeted displays and marketing throughout branches.

This means placing these bookmarks within shelving or adjacent to related materials within your branch.

For example: Kanopy near DVDs, Freegal near CDs/Music, Creativebug near crafting/DIY materials, Homework HelpNow and Scholastic Bookflix within the Kids area, etc...

Branches are encouraged to feature as many as they’d like throughout their branch that best fits their community needs.

We want to avoid a giant display or table full of paper talking about digital resources to customers. This would be counterintuitive to the heart of the campaign.

However, a smaller featured display in something like V2 or A1, focused on one or two services, could be successful. The key is to include physical materials related to the digital resources to help engage customers. (No paper heavy displays!)

Holds is also an excellent place for these bookmarks! Think about targeting bookmarks to the materials being placed on hold, or choose a daily/weekly focus for all holds.
