When we were young, everyone grew up in a childhood of unstained innocence. Right now, we experienced a lot of things. As I went through it, I think we lost the pretty hearts we had when we were young. I hope we can find those innocent hearts we lost through our album “Childhood.”

The wounds received from someone as a child who didn’t know how to respond flexibly to wounds are remembered for quite some time. But when we think about it, even if the adults admire and envy have those big and small childhood scars, regardless of their age and occupation, we often make them our object of admiration. Like this, even if you have a scar that is not healed yet, for someone, you’ll be a big adult, too.

Relatively, we tend to forget ourselves, and that’s what I think ‘Childhood’ is.

We worked hard making this album thinking every song is the title track. In all of the tracks have the keyword “Childhood” that LUCY wants to talk about, just like a series without an order, you can listen to it however you want.

In the album ‘Childhood,’ rather than simply saying ‘Let’s find childhood innocence!’ I wanted to say, ‘We are already in our childhood so if there is something you want to do regardless of age, challenge yourself. Don’t blame yourself for being stupid. It’s okay to make mistakes.’ It contains various stories like the comfort that LUCY wanted to give with <Knowhow>, starting from <MP3>, that opened up the door for us to remember our childhood, for the people lost their joy after wanting to become adults soon and reminded by their childhood with <Play>, young love story with <You & Me>, looking back after being responsible for a relationship or a decision for the first time in <Foul>, etc. Everyone, when you listen to LUCY’s ‘Childhood,’ I hope you can enjoy it thinking of <Play> to live a happier life.

I think you can say that this album ‘Childhood’ is LUCY’s first mindset. I like to think that all the past that has passed bu and continues to [ass by is my ‘Childhood.” So I didn’t limit my songs to one topic and as I kept writing more songs, various topics came put. I this album, we wanted to warm your heart and comfort you with lyrics and music about things we’ve experienced. I think it will be good if you listen to the album while imagining what your personal ‘Childhood’ was like.
