Threat actors are also leveraging tools like ChatGPT to build free code for malware in seconds, when typically, it would have taken weeks to build that type of sophisticated malware.

“Hackers are using AI tools to generate phishing emails in languages other than their own to deploy really convincing attacks on systems,” said Schofill. “These fluent-sounding messages make it harder for people to detect their illegitimacy.”

Penetration Testing

One of the many services CPAmerica offers is penetration testing, which features a comprehensive evaluation and test to simulate an attack on your systems. Researching the firm’s internet presence, scanning their available servers for vulnerabilities, scanning social media sites to leverage employee vulnerabilities, and deploying phishing attacks are some of the tactics included.
