Ronald McDonald House Charities Manitoba Charity Barrel Race
The last few years, the event’s charity of choice has been Ronald McDonald House Charities Manitoba (RMHC Manitoba). RMHC Manitoba provides a “home-away-from-home” and other services for critically ill, chronically ill and seriously injured children and their families from Winnipeg, rural Manitoba and beyond. Through its two core programs, Ronald McDonald House, on Bannatyne Avenue, and Ronald McDonald Family Room, within the walls of HSC Children’s Hospital, RMHC Manitoba is proud to be an integral part of familycentered healthcare in Manitoba. As a charity, RMHC Manitoba relies on generous supporters for donations of money, services, and gifts-in-kind for approximately 70% of its operating costs in order to continue to keep families close when they need it most. In 2017, these programs supported 2,225 families, offered 5,645 nights of accommodations and saved families an estimated $1,352,630 through meaningful services and programming. Together with its supporters, RMHC Manitoba continues to keep families together when it’s needed most.

This filly is from one of Jack Hossler’s top producing mares. Danielle Dinius’ good horse Legs was from this mare and Laurie Barton rides one from her as well. When I stated working with this filly she was not calm at all, and in three days was eating out of the pocket. She is very light on the rope and has catty like movements. She has been a treat to be around. CBHI, can be SS.

Every year I say I have 1 that becomes my pain in the ass colt, this is it. He is so honest and nice I don’t think he knows he’s not human. I had a really hard time putting him in the sale but I want you to see what is crossing well. The dam was a pro rodeo horse that I competed against down south when I hauled.
