Our enthusiasm is fueled by the positive feedback we have been receiving regarding the impact our genetics have made throughout the industry. I was visiting with a bull customer the other day who The Unger Family mentioned how pleased he was with the quality and performance of Darren, Joanne, Cole & Jordy his calves out of three bulls he had sourced from us. Also, a young cattlewoman from the U.S. who purchased four heifers from us late last fall and gUeST COnSignOr went on to win Junior Heifer Calf Champion in Denver this January. These are the things that keep us going in this business and make it all worth while.

The uniformity in our bull pen this year is unprecedented. It has enabled us to have a few more bulls on offer this year while maintaining or even improving the quality that you have come to expect. These bulls are sorted out of around 250 head allowing us to sell only bulls that are of the utmost quality.

These large sire groups give us the tools to accurately evaluate how a herdsire is really working and to pass these valuable genetics on to you. We take as much pride in the last bull through the ring as we do the first. This ensures that everyone in attendance has the opportunity to own a superior herd bull at a reasonable price.

The Calving Ease Aspect of our program keeps making tremendous progress.

– Terms & Conditions – 1. TerMS: Unless previously arranged with an individual consignor, terms of this sale are cash or cheque, payable in Canadian funds.

2. As soon as the animal is sold it becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.

3. CerTiFiCATe OF regiSTrY: A certificate of registry duly transferred to the buyer will be furnished for each registered animal after settlement is made.

4. BreeDerS gUArAnTee: We agree to sell you a bull that is sound and capable of passing a semen test, done by a licensed vet, within 14 months of age. Should any U2 Ranch bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value or a credit given toward the purchase of another U2 bull. This guarantee does not apply to mistreatment, mismanagement or injury. With this in mind, we stress the importance of insurance or our “U2 Bull Warranty Program”.

5. All bulls offered will have passed a semen evaluation conducted in March.

6. All complaints must be reported in writing by the buyer to the seller within 6 months and any animal returned must be free of disease and in good health.

7. ACCiDenTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety of the buyer, neither the sale management, nor any owner assumes responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.

8. LiABiLiTY: Purchaser must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees made hereunder.

9. DiSPUTeS: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision will be final in such matters.

10. AnnOUnCeMenTS: Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by announcement from the auction stand at sale time and such corrections will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.

11. All bulls will be exportable. u2 Ranch Ltd. reserves the right to collect “Owner’s use” semen off any bull in this sale at u2’s expense and the buyer’s convenience.
