In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, the City of Newnan has decked out our historic downtown. Flags signifying the occasion, banners sporting the stars and stripes, and all 13 original colonies can be found with their respective signers signatures. • GRASS the Band performed at Abide Brewing. H Juneteenth Parade will take place on Saturday, June 20 at 10am. The parade will travel South from Cavender Street to Salbide Avenue.
H Fourth of July Parade. Saturday, July 4th at 9am , Newnan Leisure Services will be closing Jackson Street/LaGrange Street from Temple Avenue to Salbide Avenue. Temple Avenue between College Street and • JK Duke, Tipsy Sparrows, Maddy Chontos and Jackson Street will be closed starting at 8am for setup. Following Fourth of July Car Show at Newnan Mikki Starre all performed at the Mad Mexican. Coweta History Center. We probably missed some, hope you didn’t! The event will be rescheduled. H 2026 Fireworks Over Newnan c Saturday, July 4 at Newnan High School’s Drake Field. The free event features live music, food trucks, fun for kids, and fireworks.
