Members of the Muhlenberg County Cattlemen’s Association recently worked to help one of their fellow beef producers after he had some health issues and was not able to get his hay harvested. Henry “Cotton” Tatum standing fifth from the left has always been a part of the team that has helped with cooking events for the annual AG Day, 4H and FFA Livestock judging event, Cow Patty Bingo for the scholarship program or whatever the Association is involved with. After learning that Mr. Tatum was unable to harvest his hay due to health issues, Association members decided to help make sure he had hay for his cow herd. The Muhlenberg County Cattlemen’s Association Membership has sent hay to Louisiana after hurricanes and Oklahoma during droughts so it just made sense to help

one of their neighbors and fellow Association members in their home county.
