Adidas Prodigy / Boots For The Grassroots

This project is all about designing a new type of football boot for the grassroots players of the world. It will cater for the needs and solve the issues of price, protection and ability. It aims to assist them in improving their overall playing experience. It includes rubber strips and a soleplate with interchangeable studs.

/ Fire Alarm System for the Hearing Impaired

Lumina, a fire alarm system for hearing-impaired who live alone or with others. It consists of a fire-alarm device, smart light-bulb and an App. Replace existing light-bulbs in the house and attach the alarm easily using its magnetic system. Once a fire is detected, A signal is sent to the bulb to emit a flashing visual alert to individuals in the vicinity.

A relaxation chair for breakout areas in the office. Comfort and support mixed to optimise the most relaxing position for users, while also stimulating the mind. It incorporates acupressure and posture support learnings to aid the body’s self-healing process. Colours and textures have also been used to enhance mental comfort making it psychologically stimulating.

KIT / Keep In Touch

KIT (Keep In Touch) is a digital assistant aimed at keeping elderly people who are less tech savvy engaged and connected to friends and family. Using voice assistive technology, KIT proactively engages by offering personalised suggestions and responding to questions. The product uses intuitive artificial intelligence to allow the user to operate key functions easily.

/ An Indoor Vertical Garden

The aim of this product is to give everyone the opportunity to reconnect with nature, bringing natural life into your home regardless of their living situation. Vita’s modular design lets you control how to expand and layout your vertical garden that suits your home best. It also blends within most indoor settings which creates a very natural yet modern aesthetic.

Sol Pontoon / Removing Suncream From The Ocean

Nanoparticles in suncream can disrupt coral’s reproduction and growth, leading to coral bleaching. Sol Pontoon combines nanotechnology with design to help reduce the level of suncream in the ocean. Made from recycled HDPE, the pontoon can float all year round with limited upkeep. Sol Pontoon allows people to walk out to sea, on a safe and secure platform, knowing they are supporting the ocean that is supporting them.

Sonho Directional Speaker / A Sound Beam For The Home.

Sonho uses an array of ultrasonic transducers that carry sound in a directional beam form, making it virtually inaudible outside of that narrow area. The simple design allows for a variety of configurations: sleep speaker, virtual assistant, advertisement, smart home, surround sound (in array). This product aims to change the way audio is served in a home environment.

Sykler is a companion for the everyday cyclist. It follows the principle of evolutionary modularity, a product that can grow and evolve with the user. ER Audio Unit / Premium Home Sound System

The ER audio unit is a premium home sound system offering optimum versatility, convenience and audio performance. My product consists of a mains-powered home hub and up to four wirelessly linked portable speakers. When the portable speakers are placed on top of the hub they are charged wirelessly and instantly synchronise to play simultaneously from the same playback device as the hub.

Fortis / Security On The Move

An anti-theft storage product that utilises an RFID-shielding storage pod, encased by a sleeve of slash-proof fabric, all sealed with a magnetic locking mechanism. By designing my product this way, it ensures the safety of end users’ valuables when they venture into high-risk environments – particularly from pickpockets and bag-slashers – while simultaneously allowing the user to retrieve them with little-to-no effort.

Insulite, the revolutionary artificial pancreas is my final major project and is all about natural insulin management. Giving patients more control over their type 1 diabetes and allowing them to live a normal life. As a type 1 Diabetic I can understand the complexities of this condition, giving me valuable insight into the user’s needs.

Resen / Restore, Recover, Rebalance Sleep.

Resen aims to reduce the sleep crisis faced by UK shift workers with disrupted sleep-wake schedules, impacting mental and physical health. Resen actively tracks sleep-wake cycles, analysing collected information to personalise sleep environment, aiding improvement of sleep via sensory experiences; sound, scent, light and physical touch maximising sleeps potential.
