The purpose of athletics at Covenant Day School is to fulfill the ultimate mission of CDS, equipping students to be salt and light for God’s glory, by developing Christlike character throughout the entire CDS community through the pursuit of excellence in competitive athletics.

Athletic Facilities

Covenant Day School is home to outstanding facilities that are used to train the next generation of Christian leaders. Warner Park Athletic Fields includes a baseball field, softball field, and soccer fields. The high school gym is home to our basketball and volleyball teams. The gym was completed in 2006 and holds more than 800 fans. Covenant Day’s tennis courts, built in 2007, are home to both boys and girls tennis. Emerald Lake Golf Club is the home golf course. Our swimming teams compete at a variety of locations. Cross Country practices and competes at McAlpine Park.

The CDS Booster Club works to improve athletics to provide a sports opportunity for every student for years to come. Projects that your Booster Club has worked on in the past year include a new baseball field, softball field, practice fields for soccer, new soccer goals, and upgrades to both concession stands. The Booster Club also sponsors the Annual Golf Tournament each year.
